Born and raised in the city and I can't say enough. Good people. Staff that takes care of the bad seeds so that the good ones can have a slammin night. Stand up Irish service with the best guinness in town. Came on a Friday and it rocked. Came late on wednesday and it was low key cool. Either way. Loam takes good care

Superior Mixologists

The bartenders here fly! Most other LES bars/clubs you're left waiting 10 minutes for a drink ad when someone finally serves you it's with attitude. These guys race up and down the bar and when you leave your tip you actually get a thank you and a smile! They have heavy-handed cocktails, a good pool table and the music was dope on thursday night.

• Pros: hot bartenders, great drinks
• Cons: not open at 8AM!

DON'T GO! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Worst.Service.EVER! Don't go here if you actually want to have a good time. The bartender downstairs was so disgustingly RUDE! He acted like a leprachaun who found gold. If Lucky Jack's wants to be a real New York type of spot, then they need to hire NEW bartenders. I've lived in New York my entire life and have never seen such arrogance and disrespect towards customers. TRUST ME when I say that this is NOT a place you want to go to.

Nice Bar

fun spot

got wasted here many a tims and will continue to do so. I have only 3 or 4 places i go to on the LES and I reviewed them all, & this is one of those stops. I love LJ's!

Good neighborhood pub

This is a good local spot to grab a pint with friends. I've heard good things about the lounge downstairs too though I haven't been down there myself.

Oasis in a sea of hipsters

l love this place, everything about it is great. It is always a fun and friendly atmosphere. The bartenders are so nice and personable. I love going here for a night out or just watch some games.

Warm neighborhood bar--great drinks plus great company.

It's been awhile since I've been to a bar like Lucky Jack's where it feels comfortable from the moment you walk in. The conversation around the bar is diverse and interesting but if you just want to have a quiet drink there's a spot for you at the long copper topped bar. Professional, courteous and friendly bartenders welcome you with a smile--I'll be back, often.

• Cons: none i can think of.

Great scene seven days a week

This place puts other pubs to shame. The bartenders are hot but also

quick

with the drinks. Oh and get this - they actually say "Thank you very

much"

after you tip them! - sadly a rarity these days. It's a warm space with

a

really long copper-top bar and tons of exposed brick. It won't scare

your

date and won't empty your wallet. Big screen tvs to watch the game and

a

pool table in the back. They also have a really cool downstairs lounge

that

can be rented out (for free!) for private parties. We had my buddy's

birthday party there last week and the bartender and the dj were

amazing.

Rude service, dirty glasses

I had been to Lucky Jack's before on a week night and had an decent drink. However, I went back again a Saturday night to the downstairs bar. When I ordered a drink for myself and a friend, the bartender took (someone else's) dirty glasses off the counter and to serve us drinks. When I confronted him about it, he gave me attitude. I then went upstairs to talk to the owner/manager who said "I don't care."

Well, this is the place to be if you like tuberculosis.
