I have been to this restaurant a few times. The first was with a large group of friends where we sat in the private anals of the dining space they have downstairs in this remote location through some very tight walls. At first I was taken aback trying to maneuver through the passageways, but a private oasis opened up upon our arrival that ended in an exceptional meal of bucatini pasta. The most recent excursion was a Sunday brunch, which IMHO, is probably the best kept secret in NYC. I've been to all the "really good" brunch places and this one bl0ws them all away. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and as the clouds opened up outside the owner even gave us a spare umbrella to use to walk outside with. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do this one because of the incredible service and food we experienced that day. I ordered the two eggs (poached), pulled pork and crispy hash brown plate. The poached eggs were done perfectly, slightly cooked with a warm runny center. The has browns were perfectly seasoned and no extra salt or pepper was needed. The pulled pork was some of the best I've had this side of the NYC BBQ block party. If you love New York and love simple ingredients prepared at its most exceptional manner, you owe it to yourself to check this place out!
Pros: Serivce, Food, Ambience, what more could you want?
Cons: Could be a bit cozy for some, but for me that's why I love it!
