Uptown Pilates is Great! The instructors are well trained and friendly. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming. The whole around experience was fantastic. love that I can take classes that are small so they still feel really personal. The privates really give me a great workout and I get the one on one attention I need. Such a great experience everytime I go!

Who would guess anyone could get so excited about a Pilates studio...but really this is the best! I walk out of this studio feeling good about myself and my hour spent working my butt off. All the girls here are the best. I have worked with most of the instructors and all of them are incredible, so knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge! The ambience could not be more inviting, from the warm smile and quick laughs at the front desk, to the instructors who truly care about the clients (and vice versa). The owner knows everyone's names and their personal needs. Although it is a thriving business no one is lost in the shuffle...keep it up!!!!! !!!!!
Pros: the workout, the facility, the staff
Cons: none

What a great studio! Everyone is super friendly and you feel welcome from the first moment you walk through the doors! The workout was challenging and the decor inviting. I would definitely recommend UPTOWN PILATES to anyone looking for the best Pilates has to offer!

This is by far the best Pilates studio I have ever been to in NYC. The vibe is so friendly and happy. I was so warmly recieved first by the front desk and then by instructors. I have become friends with the usual crew in the classes as we all return week after week. I honestly could not be happier with this studio. It is so clean and fresh and the workouts are continuosly challenging without making me feel intimdated. Keep it up Uptown Pilates!!!
Pros: Everything!!!!!!

I have been going here since the end of February, and I love it. I love the studio, the instructors, the equipment--everything. Everyone is so nice. There are many different teachers with different styles, so you can find someone who really suits your personal needs and goals. Addrienne has been awesome for me, but everyone I've had a class with is great. Along with my running/walking, pilates has changed my body and made me feel better/have fewer back problems, and sleep better.
Pros: The ambience, equipment, instructors, recption/lobby, everything
Cons: Would like more class time options after 5pm/weekends

I have to thank everyone at both Uptown Pilates for the Pilates high that I am currently sailing on! I went to the studio on Madison Avenue and just loved it so I decided to check out the westside studio (although location will keep my going back to the eastside). The session I had on the westside was as amazing as the east. The space was equally stunning, the reception was as equally inviting and my Pilates experience was equally exceptional. I can not say enough positive things about both studios- in my opinion they are unparalleled to any I have been to. If you are a Pilates enthusiast you must visit these studios.
Pros: Everything about this studio
Cons: n/a

A little bit suprising that this studio has managed to get SO much attention in so little time (who is their PR person!?). While staunch advocates of "classical" pilates (a controversial stance to take in this day and age to begin with...), the studio's teachers are formulaic but ultimately not terribly knowledgeable.
