Pete created a wonderfully original Rosheshana meal for my family. It had the sophistication of a gourmet meal with the warmth of a small intimate family occasion. The star dish- a Sephardic braised lamb with a sweet smoked red pepper marmalade. The lamb was in a tomato base with hints of cinnamon and other flavors. Accompanied by an arugula, beef bacon citrus salad and roasted root vegetables and for dessert a chocolate souffle. It was fabulous! We savored every bite.

I threw a surprise anniversary cook-in for my girlfriend with the help of Pete. He was unbelievably helpful putting together a meat fest (pork ribs, braised beef ribs, berkshire pork chops, and pan fried chicken). Not only was the food unbelievably delicous but Pete made the whole experience truly fun, memorable and special....not to mention some of the most succulent ribs we have ever had! His superb cooking skills were matched with his great wit, lively personality, and phenomenal instructional aptitute for two true novices. Pete was also clearly a great teacher as we recreated most of this feast for a lunch party of eight -- all who could simply not stop eating. Would recommend anyone who loves food and great company to treat themselves to NYC's Emeril!

Pros: Fun time, Unbelievably flavorful food!

Cons: NONE

Chef Peter is amazing-a true proffessional with an easy going manner and a true knowledge and appreciation of food and technique; He arrived at my home promptly at the scheduled time and had in tow everything that we needed for our lesson "Concepts of the busy New Yorker". He taught us how to cook restaurant quality meals at a fraction of the time without comproming the taste. Chef Peter made everything seem fun and exciting. We had a rather diverse and exquisite menu- we learned an unimaginable quantity in a very short amount of time - the right equipment to use, which ingredients are best for each dish, the different cooking methods available, etc. It was such incredible educational fun- even my husband joined and thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. We look forward to our next class!

Pros: Fun and creative, knowledgeable, educational

Cons: N/A

Had the ocassion (fortuneatly as is turned out!) to be at a Pete's Eats catered party. I was so impressed that I subsequently booked Chef Peter to teach 2 private cooking classes in my home kitchen. 1- "Hors d'Hoeurves and Canapies" and the 2nd "Creating That Special Meal for That Special Someone" so I could impress on Valentines Day! (And I did!!) Not only did I have incredible fun, Chef Peter's food expertise is incredible, his kitchen skills and food tips, invaluable, his patience and teaching technique unintimidating, his recipies and preparation delicious...the presentaion second to none!

Pros: well priced, get to eat what you c, great fun

I'm not really a bad cook, but I planned to make Valentine's dinner for my girlfriend and wanted it to be spectacular. So, I called Chef Pete. Together we created a menu that struck a great balance between ambitious and manageable. He put together a list of ingredients, directed me to the best and most affordable places in my neighborhood to get them, and then came to help me get ready. He guided me through all of the prep and graciously handled those tasks that were beyond me. Once all but the very last steps were left, Pete gave me clear instructions for putting the rest of the meal together. Not only was it indeed spectacular, thanks to Pete's easy-going and informative teaching style I actually learned how to cook some new things and have been able to recreate them on my own. Many thanks.

Pros: Affordable, Informative , Delightful

My girlfriends and take cooking classes every month at local culinary schools, but this month we decided to try something different. Chef Peter from Pete's Eats came to my apartment and taught us how to cook in my kitchen which is tiny. Next month we are going to have him over again. We learned so much, cooked and ate some terrific food, and had a great time.

I went to my friend's bridal shower last week. It was hosted by Pete's Eats. It was a cooking party and we all had an amazing time learning, laughing, cooking, and eating. I have been to so many showers this past year, and this one was the most unique and fun. I will definitely use Pete's Eats for my next party.

Pros: Great Food, reasonably priced, original

Cons: Too short
