Great Improv Show
by flaca1987
The comedians at this place are very talented God bless them. I could not stop laughing from the moment the show started till it ended. It is so unique, very affordable and no drink minimum. I do wish they had more shows throughout the week not just Friday and Saturday. One thing I didn't like was that kids and teens and basically everyone under 21 yrs of age is allowed. Which is fine but when you have them talking about Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber it gets too be rediculous, of course the comedians made it funny like I said they're talented. Overall my experience was great and I will go again for sure.
A great place to start off the night!

This was such a surprise! I honestly didn't know what to expect from such a small hole in the wall type of joint, but I read so many reviews about this place on this website that I decided to check it out and I am so glad that I did. All the performers were hilarious and made the time go by so fast that I wish I had time to watch another show. If you're in the area, check this place out. It's only $15 (which is basically unheard of in NYC) and you are guaranteed to laugh until you hurt!
- Pros: Cheap, Fun, Hilarious
- Cons: Tiny room
A Fun Night!
by AshinNC
My sister and I had a great time! The fact that it's "family-friendly" means kids will be there but the ones there were well-behaved & participated well. There was an annoying adult in the audience, however... but that could happen anywhere, I suppose. The actors were very engaging and talented. We didn't go to any of the other comedy clubs so I have nothing to which to compare it.
Very funny show! Inexpensive night out.

Some friends recommended this show to us, and we finally took a leap of faith and made it to the show.
What a great night out for my wife and me! The show was very, very funny, with an enormously talented cast. It was very inexpensive (just 15 bucks a ticket!), and we didn't have a waitress forcing us to buy drinks.
The theater was really nice - very upscale, not at all like the dingy smaller theaters in the city, and the whole evening was just perfect.
We will definitely return with more friends in the future.
- Pros: Great show, nice theater, inexpensive
LOVED the show. Very funny!!!

We absolutely loved this show! Several friends and I try to see a different comedy show every month, and this was by far the best we've ever seen.
The place is set up as a theatre, so there are no annoying waitresses trying to push drinks on you (there's no drink minimums either!).
It's a really great looking place, which only adds to the quality of the performances.
The cast was original, hilarious and performed some of the best improv that we had ever seen - either live or on television.
- Pros: Amazing cast, hilarious, cool theatre, no drink minimum
Unfunny and rehearsed
by oxford1833
For starters, there were maybe 25 people in the audience for a 9:45 pm Saturday show. The cast consisted of 4 performers doing what was supposed to have been an improv show. True, they solicited input from the audience, but the resulting "improv" had little or nothing to do with the suggestions at least half of the time. (For instance, one skit began with a request for a theme. The audience suggested sightseeing. The resulting skit was two guys climbing the Eiffel Tower, an endeavor few sightseers would undertake.) It was by far the most rehearsed improv show I have seen.
Simply put, the show just wasn't funny. There were a couple of chuckles, but the biggest laughs in my group came as we left talking about how painfully unfunny the show was.
- Pros: clean
- Cons: not funny!
Hillarious, funny, appropriate humour - Worth what you pay!!!

Just attended the new years' special at National Comedy Theatre. I must say this was a really hilarious show, the food was also decent, and included good vegetarian options too.
The comedians put up a great show, and were fun to hang out with after the show also (though I'm not sure they mix on 'normal' shows).
Also, the party was well planned.
A definite must see that is not a rip-off!
- Pros: Talented Cast, Great Interactive theme, Hillarious!
- Cons: Some food got cold (At the New Years' Buffet)
Great fun! Perfect Date-Night!
by gmagazino
This was recommended to us by a friend, and we are so glad we went.
The first thing we noticed was the theater itself. It's very "upscale," so much nicer than most of the comedy venues in town.
The show was enormous fun, the performers are extremely talented, and the whole atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We have already been back twice.
At 15 bucks a ticket, it's one of the best date-nights in New York.
- Pros: Funny show, inexpensive, no drink minimum!
Brilliantly Funny & Original!!!
by hh05
This was one of the funniest shows that we have ever seen. It was such a great bargain too, since they don't charge a drink minimum like most clubs do. We will definitely be back!!!
- Pros: Inexpensive, Funny, Cool venue
Brilliantly Funny!

This was one of the funniest, and most refreshing comedy shows we have ever seen. The theatre is beautiful, and the performers were quick of wit and hilariously funny. One of the best things in New York.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Cool Theatre, Funny
