I have been going to Seiji now for over a year for hair extensions and have never been happier with my hair. I had been to many salons and stylists in the past, but have never been as satisfied with my extensions, color and cut as I am with Seiji. He gives you a very fair price for any of his services, unlike many upscale and overpriced salons, while still providing you with the highest quality. I love that I never feel rushed, he always wants to make sure he understands exactly what it is that I want and that I am happy with the results. I give Seiji the highest recommendation possible and cannot imagine every needing to go to any other stylist!

I'm very happy with my hair extensions from seiji. The hair is very good quality. The color and texture matched perfectly.I highly recommend going to seiji ,he is truly a professional.Thanks a million !!!

Seiji does a meticulous job with hair extensions. They look and feel like your own hair. His extensions are like having a great hair day all the time. They are also long lasting and easy to style. I recently relocated to Miami, and come to New York so he can do my hair. In addition to doing a fantastic extensions, he is very professional and very pleasant to be around.

Pros: EVERYTHING!

Cons: NONE!

I've been getting my haircut from Seije for many years now. He always gives me the best cuts. i decided to get extensions to give my hair some extra body. I ended up getting a reddish/burgandy color to go with my dark hair. I love it and it looks great!

Seijie was very professional throughout my service. During the consultation, he gave me thorough details of the procedure, as well as things to avoid after having my extensions put in (flat irons, etc.) They were easy- to- follow instructions and, if followed, I don't see how problems could arise. The salon was intimate and friendly, and I had a great experience. I am definitely going back again!

I've had really thin, limp hair all my life and last month I finally decided to get up the nerve to try hair extensions. A friend of mine had them done a few years ago and she said that they really helped give her hair some body. Seiji was totally professional,kind and friendly and he really helped set my mind at ease about the whole process. To be honest, I wasn't even sure when I walked through the salon door (the place is cute by the way!) that I could go through with such a dramatic change...but I did! The quality of the hair extensions that Seiji uses is really good and after he was done I couldn't believe the difference! I don't want to sound too dramatic but I did look like a new woman, well, almost. For the first time in as long as I can remember my hair had body and felt thick - it actually swung when I walked (just like in the ads) instead of resting limp on my shoulders! I can't recommend Seiji and his extensions enough, he's great!

I went to Seiji at Ruby 6 to get hair extensions after reading his great reviews on this site. Initially, I was happy with the way it looked. Now, two months later, I need to let everyone know my follow up experience. The first week, the extensions ITCHED me like crazy. Maybe I should of gotten them removed immediately since day 1, but I paid so much money and liked the way it looked so I decided to buy tea tree oil and put up with it. The extensions got knotty real fast. After 2 weeks, I developed a knot. I didnt do anything about it because I thought it could be taken care of when I would remove the extensions. Well, 2 months later, I went to the salon and was told that I had to remove the extensions immediately. His excuse was "maybe you didnt brush well." I told him that I flat iron my hair alot so then he said "maybe the glue melted alittle by the iron." Well.. I shouldve said "maybe you didnt do the job properly??" I paid $1200 for the extensions and had to remove them after only 2 months.... he didnt even OFFER to put new ones in for half price. Then, I get charged $208 to REMOVE the extensions. Other places do not charge to remove extensions. He could of offered NOT TO charge me. I would of kept going to him and referred my friends but now i wont. I forgot to mention, the extensions were black when my hair is dark brown (you could notice a difference under the light.....and he didnt offer to fix the color either.) He pulled alot of my hair to remove the extensions. Removing the knot was painful, although he did not hurt me as much as his punk assistant. She was about to make me cry at one point. Seiji kept showing her a certain way to brush my hair so I would not be in pain, but she wasnt listening. Then, she had a runny nose and would wipe her nose with her hand and continue to touch my hair with her hands! I left feeling VERY ripped off. **I read his response below and all I gotta say is GIVE ME A BREAK. YOU DIDNT HAVE TO CHARGE ME $1408 FOR NOTHING**

Pros: Hair looks real

Cons: Extensions were itchy. The color was darker than my own. Some staff were rude. Hair was ALWAYS falling out.

I did hair extensions from Seiji--and I REALLY love it!! My hair is thick...so I don't have to bolumize, but I wanted something unusual and funky. I tried "my version" of hair extensions. Seiji put long blond extensions at bottom in my dark brown hair. It looks great like a rock star and I got many compliments from my friends. Also the price is really competitive. Special thanks to Seiji, and highly recommended!!

Seiji Uehara - has been my best keep secret. over 3 years, I've had extensions done by him just got them redone this week. Thank you seiji, for all this years of your grand work, patient with me I know Im hard to please but still to this day no one knows my secret (: till the next time.

seiji is great stylist.he gave me a super super creative hair extension and incredible cut. if your lookig for someone talented and profesional.try seiji!!!highly recommend.
