Awful Service & Utmost Disrespect

I visited here recently. It was not my first time. The other times were pleasant, fun, good crowd. The bouncers are RUDE and the guy letting you in...worse! I had a friend with a table already inside and we had to talk our way in. We had two others joining us within the next 15 minutes and they would NOT let them in!!! I honestly think they were just plain old prejudice. The only way in was to tip the door guy or order a $500 bottle service for a group of 5 girls. I will not attempt to go back here anymore....who wants to have a good time with a bunch of stuck up people who don't know how to talk to you with respect. I think I could have gotten better treatment at the drive through window at mcdonalds.

The bouncer mistreated us and then there was this wasted lady who took all our sweaters and threw them in the air and on the floor and the bouncer yells at us!!! If you are on this site claiming you had great service...please take a look at your race and status.

Horrible

I used to like Nikki Beach.

Recently I was there for a Cornell event and was not allowed access to the area that was reserved for our party. The manager let several other WHITE men through and when asked he ignored my requests to enter our own party. Finally, he asked the bouncer to have me leave.

I cant believe that New York City has such people. An uneducated bouncer manager asking a medical doctor to leave. I would never go back to this place.

Aggressive bouncers

Before I could even order a drink I was harassed by staff and bouncers. The bouncers were constantly and aggressively pushing patrons around. I saw one fight break out. The staff are rude and nasty. Maybe if you buy five $200 bottles for your table, as they requested, they will be nice.

great place, not like the original

i've been in 4 nikki beach around the world and this one is up to the standard but it is way too overpriced. You can have a great time though if you bring your friends. Does anyone know who takes pictures at nikki? i was there last wednesday before thxgiving but i lost the card of the dude taking pictures... great place

Awesome place

I went to this club on halloween night, it wasn't dress up halloween style - dress pants & shoes. i have done some clubbing in my time & i know decent music when i hear it. for me its all about the crowd and the music. this place didn't let me down. it was my first time there so its always a challenge to find your way around especially after a few drinks. people where relaxed and cool....i had a blast & so did my friends. the drinks were strong & priced accordingly but at least there was some alcohol in them...im going back this friday with some work mates and intend to blast it out again.

• Pros: Great music. Very nice crowd. strong drinks
• Cons: drinks on the high side $$

Expectations

I was there last Saturday Night 11/8/08 for a Birthday Party. I thought the music was not to great but was willing to deal with it. The cost of the party was about $4,500.00. I think the layout is pretty nice and the place was well decorated. As we were leaving the club we were nearly run over by a couple of really drunk gentlemen. As we confronted them the bouncers grabbed us and let the other gentlemen back inside. Thinking that the treatment was unfair we made comment to the bouncers. The Bouncer then said to us"What do you expect froma biast club".

I guess our expectations would be to be treated fairly. Is that too much to ask. Not to mention the $4,500.00 dollars spent on the surprise party. That really left a damper on the evening and festivities. The good thing is this is Manhattan and there are plenty of places to party, so we will continue to try new locations.

As for my recommendation it stands to reason I do not recommend this venue. Example would be if you went shopping and found the perfect outfit, but it took you two hours to pay for it, would you go back to that store? Some times the last impressions matter as much as the first impressions.

Lastly if the Bouncers (Club employees) operate with a preconceived notion that the club is "biast", is that the intent of the Management?

Not Bad--Had a Fun Time

I had very low expectations for this place this past Saturday night. Although I was on the mark that there would be a lot of foreigners/tourists, I overall had a good time. Got in no problem (a bit after 11 pm), no cover charge, the ambience was nice, the bartenders were friendly, the drinks are same price where you get at any other decent lounge/club, and the music was shockingly good. I don't really like house/techno/electronica/whatever you call it but it was good!! I'm usually a hop hop only person but the music they played had good, danceable beat. And there was this chick who played the VIOLIN to the music, and made it even hotter. I don't know how she did it, if she was there just for that one night, or whatever, but it was pretty impressive. I enjoyed it, it's a fun place if u just wanna go hang out with a group of friends. I wouldn't count on meeting people here though. The crowd seemed very international, not that that's bad, but depends what you are looking for.

Great place for Dancing and Fun

I've had several great times here.. Between going there for someones birthday and dancing on the chairs, to throwing my own party and dancing on tables... Everyone I was with had an awesome time.. I love the music and the crowd!!!

Nikki Midtown is an embarrassment to New York City!

Before I went to Nikki Midtown tonight I read all these negative reviews about service such as the doormen, waitresses, bouncers, and bartenders. As a New Yorker, I am ashamed to say that Nikki Midtown is one of the most pathetic clubs we have in New York. For instance, the bartenders are nothing but rude idiots. When i asked to close out my tab, the bar tender told me i had to close it with the bar tender that opened my tab and then walked away and completely ignored me. All these bartenders wear the same outfit and look the same. How was I suposed to remember? Besides that, the bouncers guard this lame VIP space even though there is nobody there. After eating dinner there, they actually kicked my out of the VIP area. Again, this place is so lame!!! It's 3:30am so I'll have to stop here but if you're a tourist, do yourself a favor and go to the meatpacking district. They are much more professional there than these clowns!!

Perfect Venue for the Pretentious and Arrogant

If you enjoy hangling with pretentious a$$holes then this is the place for you. I called to schedule a birthday party for over 50 people and was refused entry at the door. I was told it was reservation only and was not told that the several times that I called earlier in the week. Certain people were being admitted without reservations right in front of my face. I guess I did not fit the profile they were looking for and was not wealthy enough to hang with the cool people. The manager at the door wanted me to pay him $5,000.00 to get my party in! If you are thinking of having a party here I seriously suggest that you either have loads of cash and that you think twice about taking their word over the phone because they lie.

Hats off to LQ who saved the day and took my whole party in right at the front door.
