Last week I scheduled an appointment for a special offer called test drive in which you can sample their whitening procedure for 30 minutes. If you like the results you can book an appointment for 1 hour at a reduced cost It wasn’t until I got there for my appointment that I was told that I could only eat “white” food for the next 24 hours. Since the following day was Thanksgiving I decided to reschedule my appointment. At that time I was told that my front teeth veneers would be cleaned and whitened yet the stains from tetracycline would not. (which is true as confirmed by other dentists) I was excited I booked my appointment for the following week I paid in advance of the procedure. (Which will sound alarms for me next time) After filling out forms that rivaled the ones I’d filled in a hospital setting I was escorted to a dental chair. The dentist came in and said that they wouldn’t be able to clean my veneers. I asked why and she said that it would be only slightly if at all. I told her that the front desk rep had said otherwise, but she continued to insist that they couldn’t. Why? I asked to which she replied, ”Well what do you want? You are only paying for 20 minutes.” (This confused me-are my teeth going to stay stained because they are veneers and can’t be cleaned or because I am too cheap to pay the 600 some odd dollars for a 1 hour procedure as she insinuated?) She did not verify either way. (At this point I did not make a big deal about the lost 10 minutes) I didn't know if my credit card would reimburse me, so I stayed. I was made to feel insulted and intimidated rather than informed and given a choice to go on This dentist did not explain the procedure as she did the woman in the next cubicle which I overheard. The TV that they boast about was broken so I slept thru the 20 minute procedure. After it was finished, I did not get the post-treatment instructions but was late to work. I won't go back I won't recommend it to friends
