Good Sushi for Cheap!

Wasabi Lobby has great sushi specials and the sushi is good. Fast, friendly service too and in the summer you can eat outside!

I love sushi and was so pleased to have discovered the Wasabi Lobby. Friends of mine had raved about this restaurant so I decided to see what the hub bub was about. One word: Yummy! Very fresh fish, excellent quality.

After reading the reviews on this site, some friends and I decided to check out this restaurant. We were not lead astray! The menu had a very wide variety, and the many waiter's that stopped by our table were able to make some very good suggestions. We ordered several sushi rolls (spicy yellowtail, spicy tuna, salmon, eel & avocado, and peanut & avocado), and all were well prepared and made with fresh ingredients. All were excellent and very reasonably priced. I believe the rolls ranged from $4-7. I've had sushi at many different restaurants, and I definitely recommend Wasabi Lobby.

Wasabi Lobby is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The Godzilla roll is one of my favs - but I have always found that whatever I order turns out to be wonderful. The atmosphere is both intimate and relaxed. I love their green tea! I find myself returning time and time again and when I haven't been there for a while, I miss it! I love this place.

- Cons: Only 2 restrooms (though they are beautiful!)

The fry rice is the best and the fusion spicy tuna is a must. The service is excellent. This place is classy and intimate. You have to try this place. You'll love it and want to keep coming back again and again.

Stopped by here with my girlfriend and she is hesitant about eating sushi. We ate here and now all she wants to do is eat sushi all the time. The atmosphere is really nice. The staff was extremely friendly and most importantly the food was amazing. Def look at the signature rolls they have if you need a recommendation.

Come in to Wasabi Lobyy for Japanese fusion favorites such as sushi and sashimi.

Try the Wasabi shumai, the best thing i have ever eaten. good service and very nice food. Nice to eat outside too.
Good UES Sushi Restaurant

Wasabi Lobby is a very good but not a great Sushi restaurant. They have several very creative rolls that are excellent, including the Spicy Blue Crab and the Lovers Roll. Their Rock Shrimp apetizer was very good.
Service was also really good.
If you want great Sushi on the UES then go to Ooki, by far the best. Akita as well. Wasabi is good but far from their caliber.
Also, beware if you look at the restaurants website or Menupages the prices at the restaurant are higher. Why, I do not know.

Everything about this place is great. The food, drink selection, wait staff, and ambiance. The prices are reasonable as well. I love this place! My favorite restaurant in NYC.
