Smooth as Silk!

From the first estimate of the job to delivery of my goods, my experience with TLC was a joy! They made the process of moving so smooth -- they really put my mind at ease.

The movers showed up (Chelsea, NYC) on time, and were professional, courteous, helpful, and hard-working. I'm a stone sculptor, and the move involved moving several 500-pound stones. The guys were well-prepared, and had the truck loaded in about half an hour. They then navigated to my studio 100+ miles away, and set up the stones where I needed them.

I'll recommend TLC to other artists I know who need movers from time to time. And of course, I'll call them again to move my sculptures and stones in the future.

Easy Mover Over NYC - TLC Moving

My last move with TLC was by far my best. I have moved 4 times since I move to NYC and have used a couple of different movers my experiences ranged from mediocre to terrible.

With TLC I am very much happy with their service. The sales rep was always reachable and on hand to answer my questions. The movers were approachable, knowledgeable and took care with my furniture. The price was fair and I was quoted what I paid. I will use these guys again when i want to move over NYC.

Best Move Ever!

Moving is so stressful and I moved on 5/19/2011. My foreman Andre was so professional and explained all the paperwork to me in detail. He could see that I was stressed and let me know that he will treat my furniture as if it were it were his own. The team worked diligently and took such care with my tvs, bed and couch. I was so impressed with their work! I used to be in the military so I was used to moving and knew the drill but this was by far the smoothest and easiest move I ever had. They delivered all my boxes and furniture and everything arrived with care just as Andre had predicted. I would work with this same team again and will let my friends know to hire the team that I worked with. I am truly a satisfied customer.

Good Morning Mervin,

I just wanted to thank you for the awesome service my roommate and I received from TLC moving on our Feb 27 move. Everything you said we would receive was true and exceeded our expectations. Speaking with you I honestly believed I was just getting a sales pitch (especially with all the hustling and crazy quotes we were getting from other competitors), but I wanted to believe all the good reviews I had seen on citysearch from the "people". I've been wanting to send this thank you note for the last couple of days and my roommate has been reminding me to do it. Our movers (Felix, Andre, and another young gentlemen whom I apologize for not remembering his name) did an awesome job and we would like you to please share this with their manager to know it. As they loaded the truck we became concerned that our storage unit might not be as big as we hoped. We even called the facility to check if there was a bigger one "just in case" our stuff couldnt fit when we got there. As soon as we arrived there Andre came in to help us get checked in to the facilty and move it along. We asked him to take a quick look at the unit and tell us if he thought it was big enough before starting to unload, one quick look and he said "no problem, we'll even leave you some extra room". They took what seemed almost impossible to us, and made it happen. They were friendly, funny, never complained about any extra requests, and our move was actually kinda fun. They are great guys and should be commended for their efforts. They were extremely careful with everything they moved (even items that have little value to us), they even kept one unboxed lampshade in a little spot all by itself at the very end to keep it from getting crushed. And in fact, we did have extra room as we brought some more stuff to the unit the next day which we were worried wouldnt fit from the start. Thank you to TLC for maintaining friendly professionalism throughout the entire process and easing a stressful situation. We will definately be looking at TLC when the time comes to move our stuff out of storage and will recommend TLC to anyone looking to move, definately an affordable and trustworthy company which is very hard to find these days....especially in NYC! Thank you. We look forward and hope to work with you again in the future.

Fast and Friendly

These guys are amazing -- they moved our 2-bedroom apartment across Manhattan, into a 5th floor walk-up, in 4 hours, with zero stress or effort on my part. When I called to schedule the move I spoke to Melvin, who was accomodating and clear about cost. I immediately knew we were in good hands. TLC dealt with my building manager and getting the insurance certificate sent in. They sent me boxes (for half off), but when the movers came we still needed all our furniture wrapped and things like lamps and Tivo boxes packed. Our foreman, Naseem, showed me the cost of the packing materials and gave me an estimate. The original total estimate was for 4 movers and 6 hours, but since it's a walk-up TLC decided a 5th mover was needed. To make up for the higher hourly rate, the guys worked double-time and had the apartment packed in a couple hours. They were entirely professional and friendly, even after carrying sofas, consoles, and mattresses up 4 flights of stairs. We have 2 very valuable (and heavy) oil paintings that were packed perfectly and arrived unscathed. Naseem even spotted my hookah and stayed after I'd signed the paperwork to give me some tips on where to buy the best tobacco. The cost was a bit higher than the estimate because of the extra packing materials, but still cheaper than other estimates I'd gotten, and the 4-hour move time was phenomenal and really cut down the price. Even if the cost had been much higher I'd have been happy to pay it, just to have such an effortless, stress-free move. This is a well-organized team of pros working like a Swiss watch. I can't recommend TLC highly enough, and I'll definetely be using them for future moves. I can't thank them enough for turning what's usually a nightmare experience into a pleasure.

I am nearly speechless.

Your company is amazing. Your team lead by Dwayne was incredible yesterday. They were so sweet and hard working. There were no complaints, no difficulties, nothing but hard work. And everything was put in the right place, everything was unpacked and placed just where I asked. There was such care put into everything.

I cannot thank you enough for making my move so enjoyable, so easy. What a comfort to be so well taken care of and feel so at ease in my new place.

Soild Company

The internet is the best thing ever!!!!

While searching the internet for movers i called 4 or 5 movers and one of them was TLC Moving i spoke to a guy named Peter who seemed very knowledgeable and informed me about the difference between valuation and insurance which no one else did he also let me know exactly how my job would be done how the guys wrap the furniture and how they work in teams and have been doing so together for years and because Peter seemed so knowledgeable and helpful i choose tlc.

My move was last week end and i must admit everything Peter told me happened Felix and the 3 other guys worked long and hard and preformed the work just as Peter said.

i would recommed them to my friends and family

Best Movers Ever!!

In my search for a moving company that would move our company I discovered TLC.

TLC is the best. The team including Mike was so patient with me answering all of my questions, and making me feel secure that all our delicate equipment will be handled with care.

Well on the morning of the move Dwight and his team showed up 30 minutes early and once they began the day just flowed. Again Dwight was patient with all of my questions. Once we were in our new space his team put us back together again with such care and patience even after 10 hours of moving.

TLC is one of the best and the care they showed our items was unbelievable. If I ever have another company move TLC will be the only company I will call. When you move use TLC and ask for Mike he was great.

Good Job

Moved with them on Sunday from the upper west side to Yonkers and it took less time than estimated. The movers were polite and very professional and the best part no damages.

I will definitely recommend them.

I UED THEM WHEN I WAS MOVING FROM NYC TO BROOKLYN AND THEY WERE AWEOSME! VERY BETS OUT THERE FROM WHAT I CAN TELL. IF YOURE MOVING CALL UP AND ASK FOR THE MANAGER. I CANT REMEMBER HIS NAME BUT HE WAS SO HELPFUL. DEFINITELY RECOMENDED FULLY!
