This place sux, there drinks all gave me a crazy hangover for some reason none of there drinks taste like anything but some cheap liquor, there patron tasted like cheap tequila and i know patron, then the label from the cuervo was falling off like how many times they used that bottle. I will never go there unless u want to get a hangover. there food suz also, the only thing that was ok was there alright fishbowls. save urself the pain in the morning,

Pros: fishbowls

Cons: dj play bad music, bouncers rude, management doesnt want to help with anything at all. they are ruder than the bouncers

They have Beer Olympics on Tuesdays and each night has a really fun theme. Mondays is Monday Madness where they have really cheap drinks. I think it's something like $1 beer bottles, cheap good food, and their famous drink: the infamous FISHBOWL!! To find out what a fishbowl is, you should go to Porkys! Great venue for Birthdays and Bachelorette Parties too! I have friends that have done both and they've had a blast! Every night of the week is a new, fun themed night!

I just wanted to say that I never write reviews but I felt like it was necessary for this place. First of all, FIRE DJ ENDLESS. Probably the worst set of out-dated, bad, & scrappy music. The only thing they can boast about is their consistency. at least the music was indicative to their overall service; POOR! one star. sorry guys

Pros: nothing

Cons: DJ endless

This place is beyond terrible! The people are trashy, the drinks are outrageously priced and the men are pigs especially the DJ. The music was awful and DJ endless was the worst, it should be more like DJ WISH IT WOULD END!!! He had his shirt off like he had something to show and was playing music from what sounded like my 7th grade valentines day dance I would have rather listened to a dying cat. To top off the terrible music, I went with a debit card and had to charge a minimum of $35 and they did not tell me until I had already purchased my first martini. I would rate this place a negative 5 stars if I could, 1 star is being extremely generous in my eyes.

Pros: The only good thing about this bar is when you leave

Cons: DJ, Drink Prices, Must Spend Minimum of $35 on debit card

Terrible. Interminable lines and a $20 cover on a Saturday night are just the tip of the iceberg. Once inside, instead of entering the simply raucous and wild college environment you would expect, you're packed into a fishbowl with elbows flying left and right to bad music - an incredibly tired selection of rap, r&b, rock and house - that makes you wonder why they even bothered with a DJ. Drinks are overpriced, especially considering the cover you just paid, and the free shots of watered down liquor do little to make up for it. Add the pushy and downright rude bouncers at the entrance, less than enthusiastic service from the bar staff, and agitated crowd, and you're guaranteed to have a night worth remembering for all the wrong reasons. Seriously, I don't expect much from a dive, but I better than the terrible night I had. Maybe I just caught the place on an off night, but I certainly will never be going back there. If you're looking for an equally mayhem filled night without the hassle, where you actually get what you pay for, I'd recommend Calico Jacks or The Big Easy instead.

Pros: Location, Security, Dancing

Cons: Service, Drinks, Cover

This is absolutly the worst place i have ever been with my friends. I have fun pretty much everywhere and i have never been more miserable than the hour that i spent at this place, AND ALL MY DRINKS WERE FREE. I'd go back, maybe... if they gave me $20. Not only did they somehow create an atmoshere so bad that free drinks couldnt get me to forget about how awful this place was but dont even get me started on the hogs that were lerking around that place. The only plus was that the guys were equally as horrific which would make it like shooting fish in a barrel if i wanted to go whale hunting. On top of that, the DJ was an absolute clown. He tried his best to entertain but was just acting like the biggest joke in the biz. The music was so loud that it was literally ear piercing. The only plus was the smokeshows that were behind the bar (Jen, if you see this, call me). The free open bar from 10-11 must have played a hand in attracting all the goons that were trolling through that place. Once it turned 11 oclock everyone that was around me must have been feeling the pain too because everyone ran outta that place like there was an outbreak of the ebola virus. If you take anything from this review, its please dont ever go here. I think the ridiculous of this place can be summed up by the guy who works there who had to try and redeem the place by posting a response to all the reviews that absolutly crushed this place and ended up making a complete joke out of himself and Porkys. All in all this place is awful. If someone ever recommends this place to you please remember this review because itll save you the time that it wasted me. From the people that i did meet there i have to say ive met cooler people in an alley. If you think of going in here on a friday night, turn around, get a cab and go to the nearest asian massage parlor and handle your business. Thats it, Im Done.

Pros: Jen

Cons: Everyone else

Seriously? This place is a joke. Poor management and I've never had a good experience there. I've been there a few times, hoping that it could possibly get better..but nope. It never fails to be an ultimate let down. Also, who ever paid a cover to regularly get into a bar? Ridiculous. Check out the other bars around Flatiron/Chelsea, this place isn't worth the visit.

Pros: Large venue

Cons: Everything

I would first like to address the people that wrote the posts below me. I work in the marketing department for Porkys NYC and am sorry you had a bad time. I also hosted the Tuesday night that you had such a horrible time and I would like to state a few thing's... 1) The open bar was from 6-8PM not 7-9PM- I was the one who made the calls and invited people down and I'm positive to what I said. Next week 7/29 it will be from 7-9PM, and maybe that is where you got confused. 2) The open bar was $10 which is a great deal and I find it funny that anyone can complain about drinking for 2 hours for the price of ONE drink. 3) The bartenders were in fact hired 2 days ago- they are called guest bartenders and are brought in on a slower night to gain bartending experience. 4) This past Tuesday night there were about 40+ people there (which you call dead) and they were all having a fun time and if anyone wasn't happy I provided them with free shots or free fishbowls. I also think it is rude for anyone to mock a crowd of people having a good time. If you think that you are better than other people then maybe Porkys isnt the place for you, this bar is meant for FUN people to get together and enjoy cheap drinks and dance to good music. Im sorry that your group of friends did not have fun and if you would like to come back in I would like to make it up to you because everyone I spoke to that evening was having a blast, and I wish you would have confronted me that evening so I could have helped you enjoy the night as well.

Pros: Everyone has fun

Cons: You cant force people to have fun
