If I could make a wish, I would wish to begin each day in the accomplished hands of Karen Zuckerman. Karen is as highly skilled at assessing ones musculoskeletal needs as she is at the resolution of their aches and pains.
Pros: Evening Hours, Flexible Schedule
Cons: No parking

Yo yo, I know you, you're the punter who's always thought you could benefit from regular massage, but you've never really found someone who you thought was genuinely worth the cash and effort. Congratulations, you just found her. It took me about 10 years (in several countries) to finally find someone who could make me go back regularly. Like the other reviewers I've been addicted to KZ's skill, range and comfortable little studio atmosphere for several years now and there's no turning back, she's a life-saver. It's impressive how progressive she remains also, learning new techniques and providing all-round advice. If like me you previously had a preference for stronger male hands because you prefer deep-tissue, fuhgeddaboudit, she's the best at that too. Nuff said, get booked in fast if she can still fit you in. Peace out.
Pros: Pure Quality, Comfortable Studio, Product Range
Cons: There are none.

After numerous surgeries on my hip and knee combined with the daily impact of walking the streets in the Big Apple, I finally sought refuge with Karen. My first visit was two years ago and now I'm a weekly client. Karen is very attentive to the highly variable needs of my body. She listens extremely well and adapts her techniques accordingly each week. She truly provides an oasis in this high energy city. From head to toe, I leave her studio feeling calm, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to face another week.
Pros: Genuinely nice, Very talented, Excellent location

Karen, in a word, "FANTASTIC". whatever ails you, she will customize her message to suit your needs. My problem consisted of pain in the upper left shoulder/back area. Karen is an expert in that area. It is almost as of she can feel your pain and then she takes steps to address/remove that pain. I stated going to her 3 years ago and have not looked back. Her messages are addicting. She has great hands, is knowlegeable and friendly. She is simply the best.

Whether you are looking for relaxation, stress relief, or hoping to heal an injury or increase flexibility, Karen is a great choice. For those of you new to bodywork or fearing an overdose of incense, new age music, and chakra-speak, no worries - Karen's practice, from technique to the decoration of her studio, is done with care, attention and style.

Three years I was finishing my doctoral dissertation and I had a tremendous amount of pain in my upper left shoulder/back region. I was receiving a massage from a therapist and after working on me, she recommended that I see Karen because Karen was particularly good with shoulder blade problems. Indeed, Karen is masterful. (Ask her to stretch you.) She is able to work on my back (and of course other areas), like no one else. I admit it--I'm a massage junkie. Moreover, I prefer deep-tissue massages, and in the past I tended to prefer male massage therapists. After one session with Karen I was a convert. Her small clean, bright, white studio is inviting and relaxing. A must for real massage junkies.
Pros: skillful hands, knowledgable, affable and amicable

Karen is the only massage therapist I have found that customizes massages. She really listens, and always knows exactly what techniques to use so that I leave her office feeling renewed. As an avid runner, I used to think that I just had to live with my injuries, like plantar fasciaitis. Now that Ive been going to Karen, my injuries are nonexistent. Shes the best!

Working in front of a computer most of the time has left its toll on my shoulders and back but Karen has always been able to set me straight again. She even suggested a few exercises that I was able to incorporate into my workday and her advice has helped me to feel better and improve my posture. She keeps a monthly newsletter with health and wellness related topics that are always a fun and interesting read. She is extremely knowledgeable about alternative and complimentary therapies and modalities. Make sure to try here ear candling and the hot stone massage! I can definitely recommend her services.
Pros: Good value, Clean, Nice person

I was suffering from severe back pain caused from a sport's injury. Karen saw me immediately and used various massage techniques to help alleviate the pain. Not only did the massage provide incredible relief, but Karen had a lot of good tips to deal with the soreness. Massage was a good value and Karen is a knowledgeable and caring therapist.
Pros: centrally located
Cons: small space
