I definitely agree with the other positive reviews here. I just started going to Lynda and I found her to be very nice and understanding. She discussed everything with me and answered all my questions and she really made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be continuing treatment with her and I highly recommend her. The laser was stung a bit but that wasn't her fault and it's not much worse than waxing. Her prices are very reasonable and I'm already thinking about which part of my body I'm gonna do next..

Pros: I didn't have to wait, Lynda is great--very professional

Cons: Laser stings.

i am of lebanese and italian descent, and i also have pcos -- a hairy combo! after many years of plucking, shaving, and electrolysis, i finally decided to splurge on laser. i'm so happy with the results that i actually regret not going sooner. my bikini area was significantly improved after one treatment, and I just had my second. lynda is super nice, professional, and her prices are really good. i'm hooked.

Pros: nice, effective, good prices

Cons: addictive

Laser is tricky in that it's hard to know what the results will be - depends on the individual, hair and skin type, and so many variables...so basically, if you're going to go for it, I think you want to go for a place where you feel comfortable and where the prices are reasonable. Lynda price matches, so if you do shop around to compare rates, you can still end up getting the best rate from her. And she's nice, professional, personable, flexible, not at all creepy (the other place I went to for a consultation was kind of creepy..), and very low pressure - She's based out of a spa, but the business is just her--which I really liked. If you call or email, you schedule the appt with her, and she's there to answer questions, instead of some random office person. I would say that laser hair removal is an awkward, painful, expensive...indulgence (I'm totally sold, no regrets - I love not shaving). If you're going to do it, you want to go to someone that knows what they're doing and who you feel you can trust and feel comfortable with - I'd definitely recommend Lynda.

lynda was incredibly patient with all of my questions. after pricing around, i found her to be among the most reasonable in manhattan. and best of all, i'm getting really amazing results.

Pros: lynda's expertise; flexability with scheduling; and the results

Cons: it hurts! (but that's laser, not lynda)

Linda makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable in a situation that could make you feel very vulnerable .She's answered all my millions of questions honestly and patiently about my laser treatments on my bikini line.Her prices are very reasonable and I'm getting great results!

I have a great experience with Lynda over the past year by doing hair removal on my legs, bikini and underarms. I am going back now for other areas. Very satisfied with the result and the quality of service. If you consider the laser hair removal, call Lynda, don’t go to the big salons. I shopped around a lot before starting the treatment and I am sure, Lasernurse is the best value and service in the NYC.

I am mtf and have been going to Lynda to get rid of some unwanted facial hair. She was extremely thorough at the consultation and did not put any pressure on me whatsoever. I had spoken with some other hair removal people before I heard about Lynda and I'm really glad I went to Lynda instead. She was much more professional and she's very efficient. I think her rates are very reasonable and the results are great. I recommend her work wholeheartedly.

If you are even mildly considering laser hair removal by Lynda, definitely definitely do it! I've had amazing results! She has done my bikini and I have since gone back for underarm and leg treatments. Not having to shave anymore has been life changing! Lynda is always so nice and her prices are very reasonable.

Pros: Lynda is great!

Cons: None!

Laser hair removal from Laser Nurse is no joke. I've seen amazing results in my bikini and underarms. The hair is all gone and I couldn't be happier. I've just recently started treatment on my legs and can see the results in after just two visits! I have a very busy schedule, traveling a lot for business and love that Laser Nurse is flexible and accomodating. If you're looking for this service, I highly recommend you check her out - you won't be disappointed!

Pros: Small, private, and intimate

Cons: Have to book a bit in advance, as she gets busy and I'm away on business often.
