Used them to move my apartment and later my law practice. Both moves were done to perfection. They were punctual on both occasions and just did a great job overall. No funny stuff, just clean cut, straight forward business. Thumbs up!

Highly recommended- I work at an auction house, and am a collector myself, so needless to say I am VERY particular as to how my things are handled, and more so how they are packed. Alpha was basically a dream come true; their movers were as careful and efficient as their office staff was professional and accommodating to my over-protectiveness and paranoia! Everything arrived intact and as scheduled. If only I had found you sooner!

I moved with my girlfriend from uptown manhatten to Tribeca.... I thought this was going to be a nightmare!!!! We priced out about 5 companies and decided to go with Alpha. They were not the cheapest but when Bruno came over to give us an estimate it was obvious this was the company for us. His detailed discription of how they were going to pack, move and care for our belongings set our minds at ease. Not only were they here early but the guys were so pleasant and respectful that WE ACTUALLY HAD A NICE DAY MOVING!!!!!! How many people can say that? Nothing was broken scratched or damaged and the price was right. THANK YOU ALPHA!!!!!!!!!

Pros: EVERY MINUTE WITH THEM

Well we are finally getting settled in our new townhouse. Now that the hard part is over and we can catch our breath, we wanted to write and tell you about our moving experience. To start with, Alpha Moving courtesy, in talking with us to schedule the move was really appreciated. We did the correct thing and called some of the people on the reference list you supplied. Each and everyone thought Alpha did a good job and that we would be happy. The day of the move arrived, and your men were right on time. The crew was really terrific and the leader of the group was very professional. He went through all the paperwork with great care so that we understood everything so there would be no misunderstanding later. He was very precise in every detail of the move, and he pointed up items that may have been marked or damaged prior to moving. The move was organized and very efficient and everything was packed or wrapped with the utmost care for our belongings. Not once did they take a short cut which they could have caused us a problem later. The move out of our apartment was done in a timely manner and the truck left for our new home. Much to my surprise, the truck arrived before I did. I stopped for a quick cup of coffee, but they came straight without a break. They unloaded the same way they loaded, professionally. Everything was placed where it was suppose to go, so that we did not find that cartons had to be moved after your men left. They made better time than I thought and were finished very quickly. All in all, the move went great and we compliment your crew and your chief. They were courteous, swift and professional. We did not have one damaged item during the move. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend Alpha Moving & Storage and should the need arise Michele & Alan W

I moved from NJ to OH. There are few areas, based on which I have rated them 1. Pickup, 2. Delivery, 3. Attitude & Professionalism, 4. Doing what they Say will do, 5. Pricing & Transaction 1. Pickup: A team of 3 boys came in to do the pickup. They were professional and handled disassembly of furnitures and the packing was done pretty well. I was impressed with their services. I give them a 4 star for that. 2. Delivery: The delivery was awful. The person who came in got in a 18 wheeler into the apartment complex and broke a pavement. Of the two guys who came in for delivery, one chap was good and did his job well, where as the main guy, Yaniv was rash in doing the move and dropped few of my boxes with mantle show pieces. Some of the broke when we opened it. He also said he will not put the furniture back together since he did not know how. Hence I had to do the furniture assembly. I give it a 0 star. 3. Attitude and Professionalism: Over all the price quote was accurate, the customer server was good. The delivery in-charge Danny was good to deliver the my belongings in quick time and responded well to my queries. Pickup folks were fantastic, But delivery was a horrible nightmare. One complain though is, I sent in my Credit details so as to bill partially on the card. This was not done, Eventually, I had to run to the bank to get some extra cash to pay the delivery guys, also had to make a call to the bank to check whether they had billed but had missed. This was a bit annoying, You don't want to be running around in the last moment. I give them 3 star. 4. Doing what they say will do: In this aspect, I was disappointed on the following - Not assembling my furniture after delivery - Not billing some of the expenses on my credit card as discussed I will give them a 1 star 5. Pricing: Pretty accurate. Though exceeded the quote by 140 bucks. Give them a 3 star Overall rating: (2.2)

Pros: Fast and partially professional

Cons: Delivery was a disappointment.

I was extremely happy with the services that Alpha Moving & Storage provided me with recently. I was initially really concerned about the move but you and your team delivered top-notch customer service and the move went remarkably smooth. I particularly appreciated the fact that you came by home and gave me a conservative estimate. I was even more pleased that the move ended up costing me less then that estimate. People - This company is the one to use (at least when moving your home...) - price is right, service is unreal ... I mean these guys did EVERYTHING I asked for - wrapped every single piece, cleaned up the apt. (actually swept the place...) helped me arrange my home - one of the guys told me that he is studying to be an interior designer.... put everthing where I asked them to ----- AND ... took all the garbage with them. NOTHING broken, estimate was right on, even got a thank-you card in the mail a few days later along with a small gift - are these people for real???? HIghly recommend!

Pros: Just perfect!

I moved here from Virginia and used them to store my things while my apartment was being cleaned for move in. They not only broke everything they could, they tried to charge me 900 for two days of storage. The are a rip off, the contract is so they don't have to replace anything they damage or steal. I had a painting stolen, clothing, jewelry and not to ment priceless family heirlooms. Do not ever use this place. They will damage all your goods and go through great pains not to pay or replace. They offered me 150 to replace 7000 dollars worth of items. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! AWFUL!!!! CHEATS! NASTY! OH AND NOT TO MENTION ONE OF THE MOVERS GOT MY CELL PHONE FROM THE CONTRACT AND BEGAN CALLING ME FOR DATES. HE STOPPED AFTER I DIALED 911!!!!

Pros: NOT ONE THING!!!

Cons: EXPENSIVE, DAMAGING, DANGEROUS, SLOW, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Just used Alpha Moving to move my stuff from NJ to CA. I request the packing service. I feel ok with them at the time of picking up. However the shipping and deliver is worse. 1. One mattrix and box were totally damaged. Some chinas were broken. The packing box for one assmble table was lost. 2. The deliver guy break the cable outlet of my new home. 3. They charge me $75 extra fee for extra deliver distance, even their trunk is just behind of my bed room window. 4. The customer service (he said his name is Den) threated me that if I do not pay the extra fee, they will take back my stuff and charge me more. 5. I paied the $75, but they did not give me any receipt for that. They just write (+75) on a dirty paper. 6. I called them for formal recept. They said they never give customers the recept, but only the copy hand- write "contract". I can not read any number from that. 7. Too many unhappy experience with them ..... Used these guys last week. Really OUTSTANDING service from beginning to end. From Heather whom I booked an on-site visit with, to John who showed up and made a nice first impression, to the move itself - what a hard-working group of young men (good-looking too..:-) - wow! Would use them again in a heartbeat...
