If you want yummy, cheap food, go to Je'Bon. They have an inexpensive menu with most pan-asian staples. My friends and I tried their beef fried rice ( tender, flavorful), pad thai (NOT dry! steaming hot!), crab meat stick (grilled, tempura-like crab roll wth great house seasoning) salmon roll (light and tasty, not too fishy), skewers (well-seasoned, hearty portions). The staff is extremely friendly. Got the entire lower level for about fifteen of my friends. Owner was great! He provided our own waiter. I'd suggest that you negotiate a different menu for the buffet style dinner for a private party. BYOB! Great location in the middle of the whole St. Marks's scene. You can go to the slew of bars nearby! IRT close. Plan to go again with my friend!
