Wish I started going here 2 years ago

I don't go out often but had a great time at Pink Elephant. For once a club that didn't try to rip me off. Went at 11.30 on a Sat night when it opened. Joked around with the bouncer, seemed like a nice guy. $20 cover and $12 drinks is actually pretty reasonable. No stupid "recovery charge" plus 20% tip added to the bar tab like they did at Tenjune. The party filled-up by 12.30 and rocked through the small hours, but never so crowded that you couldn't get around.
To the reviewer below, of course it's small. That's the point. If it were large they'd have to let in lots of people there that you don't want.
New York shoppng: The after with Pink Elephant

Pink elephant is a must. On Fashion week, Mickey ROURKE, Forest Whitaker were there! Stunning night club!
Still a good reference for tourists and newyorkers.

The Pink elephant takes the pretentious New York club seen to a whole new level. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday night for a bridal party. We had booked a table to make this night special for my friend. When we got there they told the white woman in are group who booked that party that we where not allowed in because “they where over there quota of black people” In a group of 10 woman only 3 of use where African-American. I can believe that a club would turn away a party of ten girls who booked a table and bottle severs because there where to many black people.
- Pros: It is in NYC But so aren’t a lot of clubs
- Cons: If you don’t look like a girl from The hills don’t bother
such a fun and classy club

Pink Elephant is so much fun every thursday. For the past month every
Thursday they have a different themed party. For example, they had a western
theme and a hippie theme. I go there every Thursday with Vero's List. They
meet me right outside of the club and walk me right in at midnight with NO
COVER! It is so convenient - but you have to RSVP before at 917 569 0979.
The club itself has great house music and a good looking crowd. I would
recommend going on Thursdays with Vero's List to anyone!
- Pros: great house music and pretty people
I will not go Again - NOT EVER

At 11 o'clock on a Friday night, On a "promoters" recommendation we brought our group of 10 girls and 5 guys to this Pink Elephant disaster. We are all 20 something, beautiful people. All of the girls were offered comps, however the guys had to pay $800 for bottle service!!! That is two bottles at FOUR HUNDRED each!!! After the girls made their way in with two guys (for a tip of $200 to the door man) we realized that there were less than 30 people in the club to begin with! Obviously this club has driven away its supposed patronage with their outrageous prices and 80's trash music (really trash, not even danceable). Next time I will not waste my time and I will head to a New York hot spot, not this worthless strip of Doochebaggery!
- Pros: Rude at best
- Cons: EXPENSIVE
there're waaaaay better places in NY than this one, seriously

Honestly, this is just another club, and NOTHING is happening there. ok music and no decor. This club is a small one. I seriously want to congratulate whoever made a big name out of this. I would HIRE you for my company. I'm not joking. contact me. I just got back from it and i'm still in shock! I'm happy I didn't spent a dime in there coz my friend had a table there.
- Pros: music is ok
- Cons: every thing else

The club is extremely trendy .... so you must dress up to par if you want to get it. The music is amazing...they have great DJ's.....the only down fall is the prices are a little steep and they dont let guys in unless you know the owner or your there with 20 girls!!!
STRICTLY OK - BETTER THAN TENJUNE

Lot of old-arab-tons of money to drop type guys, with bimbo looking girls. We were a group of 6 people (3 girls, 3 guys) who got a table on a saturday night. We are in our early-20s, all went to a very reputable college and all work at reputable places. The minute the waitress came to our table, she completely ignored us girls and went straight to my guy friend looking at the drink menu..and asked him straight up - "SO WHICH BANK DO YOU WORK FOR?" - my friend works for a big name bank and said so, but obviously just having started work, we only purchased one bottle. The waitress thought we would order 2 or more, and on hearing one, she gave us the shoddiest treatment EVER. We gave her the stupid tip even though she hardly deserved it. They even upped the minumum of our table from $1000 (over the phone earlier in the day) to $1500 (once we reached the club)....obviously then we all had to chip in for the extra bottle. SCAM SCAM SCAM GOLD DIGGING SCAM all throughout. The music wasn't bad though. In any case I would pick Pink over Tenjune ANYDAY.
- Pros: decor
- Cons: obnoxious waitresses
THE WORST CLUB IN NYC---SAVE YOUR MONEY 'N TIME!!!!!!!!!!
by nycclubber111
First off, I am one of the most positive people around. I try to find the best in everything. But this place is whack, a total piece of s***t excuse of a club in NYC.
The coat check is 4 dollars per item on top of your cover--they must be pretty desperate to make money off people's coat checks. No respectable club forces you to do this. Second, the place is tiny. It's really small. A round of couches, the bar, and a small dance floor and you're done-there's no exploring to do here, it's too damn small.
Most importantly, the staff at this place are RUUUUUUUUDE. They treat you like you're a speck and don't care about respecting their customers. Clubs should cultivate repeat customers, this place just doesn't care. It needs to get over itself. I have been to great clubs in NYC and in other big cities and this place is nothing special. I don't care that P. Diddy showed up here once or something, it's pretty pathetic they're this impressed with themselves.
In case they didn't notice, there are a plethora of great clubs in NYC and in West Chelsea.
Do yourself a favor--save your time and money, SKIP THIS PLACE, go to Marquee which is around the block and go to a decent-sized club that is classy and respects its customers.
Pink Elephant, clean up your act. I will never go back to this hellhole even if they gave me free bottle service. Clubs that take themselves too seriously are destined to go down--people go to have a good time. I'm saving my benjamins and poppin' bottles at Marquee. PEEEEEEACE!
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: everything--4 dollar per item check, rude staff, too small
