Correct Pink Elephant LEFT 27th Street in August of 2009
by dmbshn1018
To be fair and honest. My name is David Cohen. I am a general manager of Pink Elephant and we did indeed close the West 27th Street location sometime last fall of 2009.
East 21st Street opens this Fall 2010.
- Pros: Hot Crowd, Great Music, Amazing Service,
- Cons: Tough Door

THURSDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS ARE THE BEST!!
by jess006
I am a New Yorker and as we all know Pink has been opened forever, but it is still one of the best club in
the Chelsea Area. I always have fun when i go to pink!
They have these European Parties every Saturdays and thursday, good way to meet new European friends!
I actually used a promoter's list last saturday they have their own private entrance to the club.
Text them to get in contact with them to avoid paying the cover charge.
I got in contact with Vero and Marion - 917 569 0979

A Pretty Good TIme
by TimG83
I went there for NYE with a buddy of mine. We had our own table and couch. When we go there it was already pretty lively inside. The crowd was young (early to mid 20's) which was cool. The girls were really cute for the most part, and the staff (aside from the bartenders) got us in quickly and got us situated. They kindly removed the people who were sitting on our couch. There were only three bartenders for an awful lot of people, and they weren't terribly fast. But it turned out to be a very good night. Crowd was cool, we went through an agency so we had an all night open bar (guessing paying regualr price would have been steeper) but all in all it was a good experience. If you are in your 20's, and don't mind a crowded dancer floor, and house music then you'll dig it. If you hate house music and crowds, then stay away.
- Pros: The girls were pretty hot.
- Cons: Not enough bartenders, or they weren't moving fast enough.

Wish I started going here 2 years ago

I don't go out often but had a great time at Pink Elephant. For once a club that didn't try to rip me off. Went at 11.30 on a Sat night when it opened. Joked around with the bouncer, seemed like a nice guy. $20 cover and $12 drinks is actually pretty reasonable. No stupid "recovery charge" plus 20% tip added to the bar tab like they did at Tenjune. The party filled-up by 12.30 and rocked through the small hours, but never so crowded that you couldn't get around.
To the reviewer below, of course it's small. That's the point. If it were large they'd have to let in lots of people there that you don't want.
New York shoppng: The after with Pink Elephant

Pink elephant is a must. On Fashion week, Mickey ROURKE, Forest Whitaker were there! Stunning night club!
Still a good reference for tourists and newyorkers.
Don't GO Don't Go

The Pink elephant takes the pretentious New York club seen to a whole new level. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday night for a bridal party. We had booked a table to make this night special for my friend. When we got there they told the white woman in are group who booked that party that we where not allowed in because “they where over there quota of black people” In a group of 10 woman only 3 of use where African-American. I can believe that a club would turn away a party of ten girls who booked a table and bottle severs because there where to many black people.
- Pros: It is in NYC But so aren’t a lot of clubs
- Cons: If you don’t look like a girl from The hills don’t bother
such a fun and classy club

Pink Elephant is so much fun every thursday. For the past month every
Thursday they have a different themed party. For example, they had a western
theme and a hippie theme. I go there every Thursday with Vero's List. They
meet me right outside of the club and walk me right in at midnight with NO
COVER! It is so convenient - but you have to RSVP before at 917 569 0979.
The club itself has great house music and a good looking crowd. I would
recommend going on Thursdays with Vero's List to anyone!
- Pros: great house music and pretty people
