great neighborhood bar!

What else can you say a drink = a personal pizza made fresh? SKEE BALL?? Trivia nights? Little outdoor garden in the back.. ample stool seating.. perfect!

• Pros: free pizza with drink, skee ball & arcade
• Cons: can get loud.. a little bit divey

My Favorite NYC Bar

This place is awesome!!!! Free pizza with every drink! I've been here with my boyfriend and some friends and we played ski-ball and used the photo booth which was a cute souvenir. There's a few cozy nooks to sit and hang out in with pillows. I arrived once for trivia night at around 10:30 PM and it was packed with several teams and tough questions. Overall....this place ROCKS!!!!!!!

• Pros: Umm FREE PIZZA!!!
• Cons: Gets really crowded at night and especially trivia night!

pizza and a drink for $4!

love this place! quick correction to citysearch's info: the well drinks are $4, not $3, during happy hours. still, you simply can't beat a pizza and a drink for $4. granted, the pizza isn't your typical new york style, but i'm not from new york, so i don't care! the pizza is good, the drinks are strong, the bartenders are very friendly. all around, a great joint. also as a bonus, there is an itty bitty arcade in the back. it has skee ball among other things. but i loved the photo booth. it's usually pretty empty during happy hour (which is baffling) but picks up after 6 for the work crowd.

• Pros: cheap!!
• Cons: low ceiling (if you're over 6 foot, be careful)

Pizza + Beer= Croc of a good time

Well for one thing I say the name is misnomer as the place is more of a neighborhood bar than a lounge. That and I couln't find any crocodiles anywhere ; ). The place is packed full of the NYU crowd on the weekends and who could blame them. Free pizza w. your beer is too good an offer to pass up. And to be honest the pizza is actually pretty damn good. They have there very own pizza oven so you get a piping hot and fresh pie every time. The service is good and the bartenders are usually friendly enough. There are some fun old school game to pass the time away too.

It's all true!

I first came here back when it was the Cellar. When I found out they were closing and switching owners, I was disappointed at first. But when I heard they were opening up the brother bar of the one in Williamsburg (Alligator), I was excited. Everything people have said is true. Decently priced drinks, chilled people and of course a free personal pizza with every drink. Some people didn't like the fact that its dark and kinda dirty but thats why I like it. I recommended this place for a friends b-day (because she wanted something low-key and cheap) and everyone had a good time. My only complaint was that it was so hot in the back I had to stand in front of this large fan to keep from sweating. If you want some pizza to absorb that beer, there is no better place.

Cheap drinks, good pizza

If you're vegan like me, just ask them to leave the cheese off of the pizza. They're fine with doing that. Go in the afternoon for a cheap lunch. Order a Yuengling ($3), get your free pizza, and shoot the stuff with your buddies for a while.

Fun games, free pizza, cheap drinks

I went here during a wkday for a little get together with some friends and had a great time. I arrived around 9 15 or so, so its beyond the happy hr time but the drinks were still pretty cheap. The free pizza bit is def true and the pizza aint bad either. A little on the doughy side but jus lay off the crust to be low carb =)

the games are really fun and i would highly suggest this place for a date! Its very chill but can get a lil on the crowded side. theres skeeball and video hunting games and even a photo booth!

Tons of fun for a chill night out! Highly recommended!!

Great!

What's better than a free pizza with every drink? I was suspicious but its true! It's a laidback bar (a little dark-no windows) but the service is decent, prices reasonable, the pizza is actually very good!! Perfect place to grab some drinks (and free pizza) with friends.

Awesome Awesome!

Crocodile Lounge is a great time!!! I always go with my girlfriends for Margarita Mondays...you can't beat $4 Margaritas and a free pizza with every drink! Music is always great, crowd is always great, and the bartenders are always great.
