Eva's Play Pups

My girlfriend and I are extremely particular about where we are willing to leave our pups, overnight or even for just a few hours. We have used all the Williamsburg area daycare facilities and Eva's is by far the best out there. Everyone always talks about Must Luv Dogs but I am WAY more comfortable with Eva's. Has anyone bothered to look at the webcam at Must Luv Dogs, its always sad and lonely. Our pups are always happy at Eva's and it seems like everyone else's are as well.

I bring my dogs to Eva's Play Pups for boarding on every major holiday and I am very happy with their services. My dogs are normally shy and they do not like to be away from me. But when I bring them to Eva's to drop them off they run right through the door and do not even look back at me. I feed my dogs raw food which has to be frozen and defrosted every day. The staff at Eva's never seem to mind the extra work and they always greet us with a smile. I have used other boarding facilities in the past and I have never been as happy and content with any of them as I am with Eva's - and my dogs agree. I recommend Eva's to anyone and everyone. Thank god for Eva's Play Pups.

Eva's Play Pups has been caring for my precious dog for over six years now and they are simply the best. Prior to learning of Eva's, I had used other places for dog walking, day care and boarding. But once we made the switch, there was no going back. They are responsible, professional, and flexible and truly care about the animals put in their care. I highly recommend

I've been (well actually my two dogs) have been long time clients of Eva. I couldn't be happier with the service. Eva and her staff love my guys, and my guys are always ecstatic to see either Eva or her sister Sofia. But with the recent closing of a couple of Brookly kennels due to an outbreak of kennel cough, I wanted to make sure Eva was being discriminating in who they took for clients. Would they accept any dog without medical proof of vet visits and up to date shots? So I called and acted like I was a new client. I said I was going away on business and needed to board my dog for a few days. The person who I spoke to politely asked if my dog had been given his shots, and if so, did I have the records to show them in person or by fax. I told them I had no such records, but I knew my dog was OK. Again, they were polite, but told me in no uncertain terms that there was no way they could take my dog without the vet records showing proof of vaccinations, and an in person visit to meet my dog and me beforehand. I pretended to sound angry and upset by their stubborness. In fact, I wanted to kiss the girl on the other end of the phone. I can't tell you how much better it makes me feel knowing that Eva's daycare won't take just any dog unless they can prove they're healthy. My dogs mean the world to me. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Next time I see Eva, I'll tell her about my fake phone conversation. And then I'll be sure to thank her.

I took my dogs there numerous times. The staff has always been very friendly and the facility seemed pretty clean and well organized. However, the last two times i went, my dogs came back wet, sick with terribly runny bms (bloody), and hoarse from barking. My dogs only bark when they are in distress and frightened - so for them to be hoarse really upset me. For them to come back so sick that I have to take them to the vet is intolerable.

I left my puppy at Eva's while away on a trip. She was young and I was understandably nervous about leaving her. When we picked her up after our trip, she was wet, though we didn't know why. Then we got her in the car and the overwhelming smell of urine filled the car--she was covered in urine!! Upon getting her home and giving her a bath, I found a puncture wound in the front of her leg. In addition, she had contracted a bad case of worms and had runny BMs for over 3 weeks. I was furious and would never trust them again with the care of a goldfish, let alone a dog or cat.

Eva's is a wonderful service. I have been a client for over two years and love them. They are cofident yet relaxed, which puts any worries to ease. I have traveled abroad several times and felt comfortable leaving my dog with their care They are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!

My little chi/jack mix has speration anxiety, and recently he was injured and therefore needed special attention while I was at work. Eva's did a great job of keeping him comfortable, relaxed, and happy. I never have to worry when I leave my boy with them, because I know they do they best possible for him, and will call me IMMEDIATLY if anything were to happen. They really are the best place if you want your pup to get some good TLC.

Pros: attentive, responcible, caring, follow intructions well, they make my pup very happy

I have been using the amazing services provided by Eva’s play pups for three years now. Eva and her staff are very reliable and resourceful, but also Eva and her staff give each dog lots of TLC and try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Whenever I have had a concern or needing any information regarding my dog Jason and my cats Tiger and Big Louie, Eva has been so quick to respond and care, as if my pets were her pets. My sweet boy Jason loves going to Eva’s for day care and boarding. Whenever I go on a trip Eva’s staff does such an excellent job of cat sitting as well. They clean my cat’s bowls, litter, around the litter house, any spoons they dirty and they rinse out my cats empty cans and put them in my recycle bin as instructed. They feed my cats and give them fresh water. They even do me the favor to pick up my mail. Once there done they take the bag of dirty litter and dump it in the garbage can that are in front of my building. I am so happy of having the pleasure of using Eva’s services. Eva, Sophia and her staff make me feel so comfortable when I leave out of town because it feels like I’m leaving my precious pets with a family member instead of strangers. This is how comfortable and happy I am with their services. I rate Eva’s play pups 100% of quality services.

I have two cats, a large male tuxedo and an EXTREMELY small half siamese peach point, and my little girl requires special attention. She can't stand people and goes on a hunger strike when she's upset, so I always used to worry when I had to go away for any reason. But the people at Eva's do an amazing job of making her comfortable when they visit, because she always eats and doesn't have an accidents around the house to show that she's unhappy. They also follow instructions very well (I have a no shoes policy in my house, and I've yet to see a single footprint) , the litter was clea, and the floors were swept around the food. The dishes were washed and spotless, and the garbage taken OUTSIDE as requested and disposed of in the trash bins. They do a wonderful job, and I'll be using their services in the future whenever I have to leave town.

Pros: house was spotless, cats happy, will always take phone calls if you need to check in and ask how the cats are doing
