I went to this place because I was told by a couple of friends that it is the best RoofTop bar/lounge in NY, or at least with the best view and look. As some have mentioned the service was not too cordial, I bought a couple of drinks about 5 or so and gave the bartender the money and before I had a chance to put down the tip she proceeded to say "I don't work for free". Needless to say I just walked away once she said that to me and didn't leave any tip, the next few times I went up I had another bartender who was fine no complaints. The other issue I had was that one of my friends did not have a collared shirt on and the bouncer refused to let him in, but he lived nearby so he ran home and changed shirts, which I'm not too happy about but I'm fine with. The view was excellent and everything was nicely decorated, the indoor and outdoor bars looked really good, very nice layouts. I would definitely go back again, but I wont make it a priority to go there on a Saturday night unless everyone is dressed up and haven't seen the view.
