For the most part travelling into Manhattan has always provided me with a great variety of bars and experiences to cap off the long business day behind me. I found this bar and was intrigued by the menu choices...crusted goat cheese, escargot raviloi seemed tempting along with a cocktail. Brought along my business associates( who are not gay). Much to my surprise, the high end cuisine is non-existent and the staff for the most part seemed un-interested in serving or serving in due time. Some were on their phones while I noticed patrons who were waiting for service. The infused shots were strong, but enjoyable. After seeing the new menu, we left for a real restaurant. I'll try again for a late night drink with friends. As a hospitality specialist I was dissapointed. Maybe they will try harder at their new location which I just found on google was opening soon.

• Cons: very spotty service, staff uninterested,inconsistent menu

Not the same!

This place has really lost its mojo!! That last review (aka advertisement) was obviously written by the new management of Vlada, so I feel compelled to write a response. This bar used to be so fun, with a real friendly neighborhood vibe. That all changed last year when the new manager (Mike?) came on. Now it's just another no-frills, all about the money midtown gay bar. I give it a year, tops. See you at the ritz

Trendy, Upsale and Hot Boys!!!

I love Vlada Lounge so much. With the economy so crappy now, where else can you go from 4-8 pm and drink anything for half off. Then they have a reverse Happy Hour from 12-1 am with 5 dollars infused cocktails and 3 dollar beers. Then I just today read in the magazines that they are now offering 1 dollars infused shots all day everyday! I've been there pretty much everyday of the week and love the line up right now. They have movie Mondays, Caberet Tuesdays, only one of the best DJ's in NYC DJ Johnny Dynell on Wednesday, Thurdsdays Bianca Del Rio and then Saturdays great DJ's that really know how to make a crowd happy. Love it here and will always frequent this place. Home away from home.

got to check out the peach martini

My friends live in Midtown , so they took me to this place called VLADA LOUNGE. we came in around 9:30 and it was not busy at all. There were some people on the long couch and we were all watching two guys flirting at the bar, throwing mini snowballs at each other. the bar has a strip if snow/ice running in the middle to keep the drinks cold. I asked a cute waiter what was the special drink and he said "we have 19 flavored homemade vodkas, we infuse in house. " I , of course could not make up my mind and he recomended a peach martini. OMG! It was awesome, I had two of them and was feeling no pain. I mixed different flavores thru out the night. By 10:00 it started getting really busy , really quickly. almost everyone who came in was gorgeous. My female friend said she has never seen so many beautifull guys in one

room. she was right!!! I saw the winner of the Top Model come in with a bunch of her gay cuties. By that time they opened the upstairs. I did not know they even had one. We decided to go up . there were comfortable couches and a stage area, the DJ booth and a beatiful bar. It got really busy quickly. everyone looked like they were having a great time. The music was good, the driks were strong and good!!!!

I am recomending this place and I WILL BE BACK!!!! Definitely a place to be seen

• Cons: no bathrooms upstairs

What happened to VLADA????

This bar is going down-hill FAST!!!!

I was just there last night and live in the hood, so I guess I'm a regular. This place has been so much fun for years... but not anymore.

Not sure what is going on, but there's a mass exodus of long-time staff, which is not a good sign. This used to be a cool, chill and hip bar in midtown. But I think it's under new management or something...

The amazing staff who knew almost all the customers (which really made this tiny narrow bar a MUST and gave it it's great vibe) have vanished -- so have most of the cute crowds that were regulars. It's swiftly becoming a robotic midtown stop with blase bartenders that caters to the after work crowd and a ton of girls lately. Not at all what it used to be and totally lacks the cool atmosphere that made Vlada what it was....

Bye Vlada, we'll miss you.

Cole is amazing!

As an avid bar-goer, and a man who enjoys the company of other men, I would have to say that my experience at Vlada was spectacular. I have one word to tell you exactly why. COLE. He is the cherry on top of my HOT fudge sundae. I gave him my number, you so if you're reading this, Cole, it's Jeremy! Call me!

Pretty Peeps

This Manhattan Lipstick Les was quite impressed with the scene. There were a few other lipstick les there and all the boys looked like models stright from the pages of an Urban Outfitters catalog. The DJ was the BEST. None of that cheezy 20 minute Caldrone nonsense -- played great mixes of M.I.A. and Ronson ft. ODB. The vodkas could be better. I noticed that my pineapple infused vodka came out of a bottle from a cheap brand of vodka. That's ok, but if I was going to pay homage to vodka and spend all that time infusing, I'd start with a decent vodka. I'm no stranger to the crunk juice, so I could let that slide a bit.

THe Manager Cole is so hot

I would like to say I walked into Vlada one Friday night and behind the bar was the guy named cole, he was the manager. He was so hot and his package looked so big I could not stop starring. Its worth going back for the buldge alone. We love you Cole keep the buldge growing!!!!

Small, but intimate

The infused Vodka is good, quite strong so be careful! The crowd is a good mix of people. Drinks are expensive, but this is NY.

Best Gay Bar in NYC!

This is BY FAR the best gay bar in all of New York! Every night is consistently packed with all kinds of cute guys, the flavored vodkas are delicious and CHEAP (sorry kids, $7 for vodka on the rocks is WELL-PRICED in this town), the music is fantastic and the party keeps going way into the night (unlike nearby rivals like Therapy and Barrage). The staff is HOT. You can bring your drink to the front terrace to smoke (at least before 11).

Anyone who thinks this place is overpriced is driving in from the Lincoln Tunnel and is mixing up drink prices with the cost of parking! Hell's Kitchen is the new gay hotspot and Vlada is totally the best, at least for now.

• Pros: Great flavored vodkas, excellent music, BEATIFUL MEN!!!
• Cons: a little loud, bathroom and front foyer could be a little classier
