For fellow beauty guru's out there, you will be pleasantly intrigued by Sabon's delicious array of bath and body products. What's cool is all of their products are imported from Israel and many contain Dead Sea minerals.
I've been hooked on their Massage Oil - which I also use as a perfume and an aroma (a few drops into an oil burner does wonders!)
Just recently they added a new fresh cut soap to the already vast array of handmade soaps - Glycerine Kiwi Mango Rose Petals - sounds a bit bizarre, but WOW, it's such a unique combination of fragrances. A must try!
Check out Sabon too, if you are interested in supporting Breast Cancer Research - they have a beautiful new basket "The Pink Bath" basket on sale and 30% of proceeds are going straight to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation - in my opinion, it's a win win situation.
Enjoy
- Pros: Beautiful retail locations and friendly staff and if you live outside the city, their online store is just as inviting!
- Cons: You cannot buy just one thing
I love this store!

I love this store! It is way better than Lush. I could hardly smell the lush products. Sabon's products have strong nice scents and are classic like rose and lavender. They also package their stuff really prettily and gave me three little soap chunks for samples. The ladies (Israeli??) were very nice and informative. I loved it so much I had to go back. I went to the uptown store at 72nd in Broadway the 2nd time and didn't like it quite as much as the SOHO store. The employees were American and were not as informative, didn't give me samples, and didn't take as much care packaging the items, but I still love it. I brought home a bath bomb and soap for my mom and sister and they love it now too. Then online, I saw that they offer a skin care line for sensitive skin so I had to order that too! Lush just has you put your items in little plastic bags and you have to buy giftsets if you want nice gift packaging. I also didn't get any samples at lush but I will say I like their massage bar which Sabon doesn't have. Sabon offers a full line of body scrubs, bath salts, skin care, men's products etc. I will definitly be buying more from them in the future. The store is an experience in itself with the rich browns, and large antique looking sinks where you can try out the products or have th ladies demonstrate for you. It feels like you are stepping into an old world merchant shop and I love that.
- Pros: Service in SOHO store, atmosphere, quality products
- Cons: A little pricy but you get what you pay for

You can sample the products. The store on Spring St. has a large well-type sink at which you can sample the products. The hand wash with mineral sea salt completely transformed my hands. Worth a visit.
- Pros: great customer service
- Cons: none
