do not go there!

All what I needed is to trim my ends. I left the salon with extremely poor hair cut and it took me another good master and additional $70 to fix their professionalism. If you care how you look, just do not go there.

Highly recommended

Joy is great at filling you with the confidence and spirit to try something new. She listens explains what's possible and excites you about the opportunities. This is never with a view to sell products or services but with a real passion for making others feel great about themselves.

Joy is better and different! She has a gift to create a look you didn't think was possible and make you feel great because of it. and because she is a perfectionist she's not happy unless you look and feel great.

Best COLOR in nyc!!!!!!

I went to lifestyle Salon and everyone was very welcoming and sweet. My stylist Joy was amazing it was my first time with her and I wasn't sure about what I wanted and she gave me a lot of great suggestions for my color and cut and I love it! It came out exactly the way i wanted and I am very happy. I am definitely going to recommend her to my friends

I called and got a same-day appt. haim was very nice on the phone, and even sweeter in person. he is the only salon owner I've ever met that took the time out of their day to sit and have a chat with me, and make a new client feel very welcome.

Tasha washed my hair and gave me a great head massage. joy cut my hair styled my hair and showed me different options on how to wear it. For only $65, I was so happy with my hair!

I've finally found MY hair salon. Thank you .

Horrible

Haim just murdered my hair and has left me in tears! I have never received a bad hair cut until now. I purchased a bloomspot for a Moroccan Oil treatment, cut and style hoping for the best but ended with the worst. The 2 minute shampoo and condition was the treatment apparently, and I was rushed along to get my hair cut. Not only did Haim not do what I wanted, he went along and continued to just cut as much as he pleased. He continued to blow out my hair in the most weird technique ever leaving spots which were still not fully dried. Worst of all after leaving the salon my hair did not last three block before it fizzed up. Save your money and tears it's not worth going here!

Fantastic Hair Stylist - Adam

As somebody who spends time and money on ensuring my hair looks good, interesting and healthy, I know a good hair stylists.

On moving to NYC in 2008, I was traumatized by having to leave my stylist behind. I found LifeStyle Salon but only after too many hours of research, scary and expensive visits to “the best” salons in NYC.

I have had 2 different stylists at LifeStyle and have been pleased with both. However, the latter Adam is amazing. He understands color, he is honest, he is professional and is amazing when styling my hair.

I recommend Adam and LifeStyle salon.

Great Salon, Even Better Stylist (Adam)!

When I moved in the area in 2010, I was looking for a new stylist. I took a chance with Lifestyle Salon with a Groupon. I got lucky that Adam happened to be the one to do my hair - and I am sticking with that! He really has done a great job with my hair every time - I have never gotten so many compliments about my hair!! My hair is very thick and I have a lot of it - if one can handle my hair, they can handle any hair. Adam is exceptional, loves what he does and it shows. I highly recommend him!!

Love the location, love my stylist!

I've been coming to Lifestyle salon for about a year now, I have gone to a few of the stylists and all were good but I really found a great fit with Adam! He's super friendly and really listens to what I want. He never makes me feel rushed (a problem I've had elsewhere), and always makes sure I leave looking gorgeous! My only complaint is that the salon is fairly small and it can get a little crowded at times!

Nightmare in Hell

Maybe Adam is no longer here but it was prob the worst experience of my life: the rubber bib placed on my shoulders smelled moldy and it was so bad I had to run home and shower afterwards plus believe it or not I may have contracted lice because the hairbrush he used for my blowdry had tons of hair on it but he grabbed it so quickly out of a filthy drawer that I didn't get a chance to refuse. About 7-10 days later I treated myself with lice shampoo for two weeks and my itchy scalp was cured. Nightmarish experience. Avoid Adam.

The Best Color and Hair Cut

I have experienced in long time the best color , my h/lites are absolutely beautiful and my hair cut is the best in many years. Umberto listen in what I really wants, concerning my color and haircut and his blowdryingand styling abilities are amaizing. If you want to experienced a big smile on your face because you feel beautiful because your hair is, just visit Umberto and get in the romantic setting with his sexy accent.
