Bad Service
by SinNYC
No one ever answers the phone at this office. Both phone numbers go straight to hold music. I can't use my groupon if I can't make an appointment. My groupon is going to waste.
So, here's an honest review to offset all the obviously fake reviews here!
Response from this business

SinNYC, we are sorry for the frustration - our phone service has been overwhelmed with all the groupon calls coming in. We will honor any appointment made with our online appointment system, even if the time avaialble isn't until after the Groupon expires in late December. We have a limited number of patients we can see in a day and there simply is too much demand. We are trying to accommodate every one and be fair at the same time. Just book it online BEFORE Dec 24, 2011 and you'll be fine. If you wanted to make it in between now and then, we are completely booked at the moment. You should know that this is the nature of Groupon's that are close to expiration and you should call the company and ask for a refund.

My boyfriend & I, by way of Groupon, both had whitening treatments here. I got bleaching trays and he had the in office session. My teeth came out whiter! The lady on the phone recommended that I try the trays since my teeth are really sensitive. I tried to talk my boyfriend into doing it but he was stubborn and now he wishes he did them too! The challenge for both of us was sticking to the CANS instead of CAN NOTS, with regards to drinking/eating for 2 days after. No red wine/sauces? AAAGH!
Anyhow, it was a pleasant experience for both of us. We didn't get to meet Dr. Janish but the people we dealt with were professional & accommodating. Unfortunately they don't take my HMO insurance plan, so it's back to my hum drum dental office I go :(, but if I get an upgrade I would return. It's not your typical dental office, I'll tell you that. (a plus)
Location was convenient, office very modern. I took off a star because elevator was really slow and made us late for our appointments. They should tell patients to arrive early to factor that elevator wait in.
I tried to write a review on another website and my review didn't come up. That's why I am writing here. The reviews of other people are what made us decide to purchase our Groupons. Just spreading the love, lol! Thanks
Amazing! Actually look forward to go to the Dentist now.

I had yet to have a good experience visiting a dentist until I visited Dr. Janesh. From the moment you walk through the door there is an great feeling to this place. The receptionist Simmy is great and personable plus extremely efficient.
Dr,. Janesh came recommended through a friend and I didn't really know what to expect. Pleasantly he was more than a great dentist, he is also a great man. A pleasure to talk to, good bedside manners, and an amazing dentist as well.
Having somebody drill in you while you're conscious is not easy but he definitely made it better.

I'm going to make this quick.
1- I saw this dentist's reviews on citysearch last year and said as soon as i get insurance i'll go. still don't have insurance but ended up getting a promotional deal over the summer and finally made it in on Saturday.
2-thoroughly impressed- ambiance was so chill, staff was great. Michael cleaned my teeth so well I couldn't stop looking in the mirror for the rest of the day. He was so pleasant. Usually when I get my teeth cleaned they take xrays and cut up my mouth and are so quiet! Dr Janash was also very chill & laid back & smart; he's my new dentist as long as i'm in NYC.
3-Office is welcoming and relaxing,I would recommend this place to everyone, even my grandma!lol!
Thanks everyone!
This office is a MUST SEE/MUST GO TO!

Ok, so for starters I'm not big on writing reviews, not because I don't want to, it's just that I am lazy! However, after my experience here, I have no other choice, so here it goes. Dr Janash & his team rock big time! For starters upon entering, I was greeted by 2 lovely ladies at the giant front desk as well as the most amazing smelling candle I've ever smelled! (They told me where to get it but I forgot.) Anyhow, I am so used to bland dental offices but Dr Janash's office is the complete opposite that! I have to agree with some of the other reviewers here on citysearch. The walls were reddish orange, really earthy & modern decorations, & an array of art work. Having eaten pizza right before (oops!), I requested a toothbrush and they gladly gave me one as well as a cute tube of paste. The bathroom was like a spa bathroom-and I know this will sound funny but it was the yummiest smelling bathroom Ive been in in a while LOL, with another gr8 candle! My last dentist has a bathroom that was so freezing I hated going!! Anyhow,I'm bad w/ names, but an older woman came for me and took my Xrays (she was so sweet & gentle). I read another review about the music and I have to say I was pleased with the variety as well as the hipness-definitely not ur typical (yawn) dental office music. I was jamming in the chair while waiting for the hygienist. She came in & cleaned me teeth so well that afterwards they glowed!Dr Janash was the coolest and so easy to talk to.I hadn't seen a dentist in years and he was willing to answer all of my questions no problem. He even took me into his room to go over invisilign w/ me and being the dog lover that I am, I melted from the pic of his puppy on the wall! Not only a great dentist but a dog lover! LOL! I have a few fillings and one crown to get done which I'm scared about and I but the doctor told me I can have a foot massage to relax and I can also take my valium so that's good. Overall everyone was warm, happy, & helpful. Not only would I give them an A+ as a dental office, but a I would say an A+ for a Medical office in general. I've been to so many! This tops the list. f you can't tell, I highly recommend this place.I'm sending my friends and family in NY here!
AWESOME SERVICE

This will be my only dentist in the city that I go to. They take a majority of insurances, appointments were kept on time. NICE JOB

Wow, I am not going anywhere else from now on. I thought I was being pranked when they told me to take off my shoes so the Massage therapist could work on my feet during my cleaning. What a great surprise, it really was a wonderful distraction from all the noises that usually freak me out. When the hygienist, who was very sweet, told me she was done, I have to admit I wasn't ready to leave, LOL! I MAY have to get a root canal but as long as I can have my feet massaged, I will not be scared. The dentist was super nice and laid back and extremely professional. The entire staff was pleasant, which is not always the case in doctor's offices. The bright orange walls kept my spirits high as well. Oh and also, when you walk in you feel like you are in a dessert bakery. I don't know what kind of air fresheners they had, but it smelled like yummy cake. I highly recommend Park South Dentistry. Thumbs up guys!
- Pros: Smiling Staff, Foot Massage, Colorful Office,
- Cons: Slow elevator,Couldn't find office on building directory

This is the only dentist in New York that I go to. The place is so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor! I go every six months for a check up and don't actually dread doing so.
- Pros: Friendly Staff
- Cons: Slow Elevator that made me a little nervous
Great office
by wordupyo
The best cleaning I have ever had! Not just because the irl doing it was gentle and thorogh, but because the staff won me over. They are very pleasnat and the hygienist is extremely informative and detail oriented. A must go if you havent had a cleaning in a year like me
- Pros: Clean Modern Design
Make this the place to bring your TEETH!

One day my co-worker came back to the office after her dental visit and was beaming. This was the same girl who was practically pulling her hair out her appt that very same day because she was so petrified! When she told me she had her feet massaged during her visit I figured she was lying and maybe the novacaine had numbed her brain, but she swore it! I booked my appt so quickly since I was due for a cleaning.Unfortunately the massage lady wasn't there when I went :( The cleaning was good and after, I met the dentist Dr Janash, who is the nicest dentist I have ever had! He was in scrubs and jeans and so down to earth. The woman at front desk, Cindy (who was the biggest sweetheart!), told me I can get the massage on Thur or Sat only. Both of those days are bad for me but I happened to be in town on a Saturday so I came then for my fillings and was both thrilled and soothed to get my foot massage from Daynah! It was amazing, what a wonderful idea! And she put some Lavender oil on me to calm me down because I was so nervous...ahhhh-heavenly!!! I have more fillings to be taken care of and for the first time I'm actually looking forward to going back to the dentist! He didn't make me feel pressured to get a million things done in addition to necessary fillings, which is a huge plus. I agree w/ person below, the office smelled amazing! Not the typical medical office aroma.Kudos to doc and his awesome staff.I took some cards to give out. Thanks Dr Janash!
- Pros: friendly staff, bright colors, foot massage, cute goodie bag,
- Cons: sloooow elevator (go earlier!),masseuse not there everyday
