Great food, friendly service
by jht52
My wife and I found this place shortly after moving into the city and have eaten here frequently over the last six to eight months even though it isn't in our neighborhood; by now, we have had everything on the menu and it is all excellent - lobster ravioli, pork tenderloin and the salad with pears and trout are particular favorites; wine list is OK but not spectacular andreasonably priced
- Pros: Sometimes busy but never crowded and service never lags
- Cons: Nonw

A wine list compliments a selection of artisan cheeses, plus more food served tapas-style or as entrees.
Unbelievable Lobster Ravioli
by marthel2
Happened upon this place after visiting a gallery in the neighborhood, had a glass of wine at the bar which turned into dinner and dessert. The bartender was so friendly and every dish he recommended was delicious. I had a lobster ravioli with pea puree and truffle which was divine followed by a lemon tart like I've never tasted before. Will defnitely go again, such a nice atmosphere and great friendly service.
- Pros: Great food and nice wine list
- Cons: NONE
Warm and friendly, great food

This is a fantastic new restaurant with a warm Chelsea atmosphere. The very friendly owners make you feel right at home while serving great food and obviously taking pride in their establishment. I recommend the calamari but the whole menu is terrific. They start you off with a delicious bread basket served with seasoned olive oil. Great place for brunch or dinner, or just drinks.
- Pros: Food and atmosphere
Fabulous place!

What a nice find! A friend of mine told me about this place and I decided to check it out. I had a magnificent dinner! I started with smoked trout salad which was yummy. Then I went for beef tartar as I never tried it before -- it was sensational! If you want to be surprised, go for it. And it is organic like almost everything on the menu. The service is very friendly and fast. I loved this place and definitely will be back soon!
- Pros: food, service
- Cons: none
Best New Resaurant in Chelsea

Finally, some class arrives at 202 Ninth Avenue. The new owners have elegantly redecorated the space in this landmarked building, and created a mouth-watering menu that is modern and exciting. For entrees try the Seared Tuna with cashews and broccoli rabe, Lamb with Orzo salad, or Roast Chicken with goat cheese scalloped potatoes. There's also a variety of tender steaks cuts. Our favorite appetizers: Asparagus with shaved cheese, and Avacado Cilantro Crostini. There's a broad wine selection to satisfy any taste. Save room for the outrageous desserts. With a lively bar/lounge area, French doors that open onto Chelsea, piped music, and sizable-yet-intimate back room, this is the perfect place for any occasion, including your private party. We're thrilled at the new addition to the neighborhood, but it's certainly worth a trip from anywhere in the city!
