My daughter was about to graduate from Montclair State and was a Dean's list student. She has already been admitted to her 1st choice graduate program and has been an honor roll student her whole life. She did something really dumb to a classmate and was charged with a felony. We retained Sean Branigan and Associates because two of my patients highly recomended them. As an area physician and only one daughter Sean Branigan treated her case with utter care. She was actually facing jail time and had made an incriminating confession. First he got the charge downgraded and then dismissed after eight months of solid work. The other two lawyers I was considering were like kings - with egos to match. When I met Sean Branigan I knew he was an ace because he was just as sharp but humble and respectful. I had heard he was the kind of guy you could trust to protect his client even when the door was locked and he was alone with the prosecutor. I could not echoe that opinion more. It is simple Sean Branigan saved my daughter from possible jailtime and saved her record from a criminal conviction. As a physician I know that results matter. He got the best possible outcome with the least amount of risk. Not to mention he was 1/2 the retainer. I give this firm the highest respect.

Pros: very centrally located and low key

Cons: nobody likes to have to hire a lawyer but you need to when the stakes are high

This firm is great and if you read this please know they are the best in New Jersey. First of all, Mr. Branigan is a lifelong NJ resident that is very strong minded and self assured. Second, he kept his word and represented many of our matters for a VERY reasonable fee with outstanding results. As a historical society officer I can say that we keep this firms card on our cork board. Not only have they represented us succesfully as a non-profit organization, but also represent us personally as matrimonial, immigration, and defense attorneys for our members friends and family. They answer the phone and talk to everyone with a free consultation. We all agree they are the most respectful effective and straightforward firm we know of. They are honest normal professionals that are VERY reasonable. We recomend this firm with the highest rating possible in every respect. You will NOT be dissapointed.

Pros: Great reasonable trustworthy lawyers - they are the genuine goods

Cons: a little old fashioned

I was charged with a crime for the first time since I was 19. This time I knew a fraud conviction would end my career - this was not spraypaint. I knew I was innocent but it looked really bad for me. My co-worker recomended Sean Branigan, and said he was the best new school lawyer in New Jersey. He had gotten his son out of trouble two years previous. Although it took six months of uncertainty Branigan got the fraud charge dismissed. He has old school training but represents the very best in the profession. Extremely high recomendation from me...use him, you cannot afford to horse around when you are charged with a crime.

They are excellent representation of a polished corporation. S. Branigan saved me $15,000 in an appearance that took him two hours to make. He is the best. I know some of the smart large NJ businesses will continue to use him four out-of-house work. Nobody can afford to throw away big money anymore on the big firms. You can only fit one man to the microphone so why do you need to pay $300,000 for Lowenstien or Cold Shots. I will continue to use him because he saved my company big expenses so I can get a big BONUS. Branigan is reasonable and ges it done for less than half of what his competition in the corporate game charged us. His retainer is so small but he's smart - you get to see him perform. Use him. But keep him a SECRET.

I found S. Branigan and used him for corporate counsel. He has ALWAYS been a pro and helped us with three cases. All very different but all important. He was great.

I got two tickets in Union City. One was speeding and the other was carless driving. My previous lawyer netiated me an unsafe driving in a similar situation. I did not want to plea bargain because I was not speeding. Branigan stuck by me and scheduled a trial. Right before it began the prosecutor gave us an obstruction of traffic. This was no points and I am grateful to him.

Pros: tenacious

Cons: hard

I have worked on Wall Street for over eight years when I got charged with some white collar crimes. I was charged with two crimes. I did my homework and went with Branigan. The other lawyers were smart, but he is street smart also, like me. After everything I got divorced and Branigan handled that as well. I ended up keeping my job becuase I was falely accused and got a good lawyer. He is an expert. The in house arbitrations were tough. He advised me to remain silent in court and arbitration. My divorce and charges are over now and I know two my other co-workers lost their jobs and I didn't. I got lucky and I said nothing. Great firm!

Pros: Old school - Street smart and protective of clients

Cons: new school

the police and prosecutor were lying about what happened to me and charged me with criminal mischief...they helped me.

Pros: straightforward and ready

I must say that I was REALLY nervous when I cught a criminal charge this past fall. Sean Branigan got me out of the trouble I was in so I could resume my life. I was a good person with a bad problem. He never judged me and assured me the whole time that I was presumed innocent.

Pros: tough, respectful, and well dressed

Cons: kind of made me nervous because they are an intense bunch

They got a dismissal that was about to send me away for five years. When you are in trouble and your life depends on the outcome (or your record anyway) you need guys like this.
