I call this place and they fumbled around for hours trying to fix my pc. After looking up the problem on Google for an hour and being unable to fix it they still wanted to charge me. After getting very upset with this service I went back and read their reviews and noticed something very interesting. These guys received 30+ unbelievable reviews all within a 2 day period!! Take a look at the dates from 7/22 - 7 /24 !! This guy is dumb enough to have submitted all these reviews himself within this short time frame which makes is blatantly obviously he submitted a ton of fake reviews to make his illegitimate business look reputable. BEWARE!!!
Cons: FAKE REVIEWS - BEWARE

I found computer docs to be very helpful and I would highly recommend them. we were able to get an in home appointment two days after we called. they were prompt and friendly. they were able to fix the problems that we were having with our computer. they were not rushed and took time to explain what was going on with our computer and how to have function better. i would definelty use them again.

If it sounds too good to be true it is. unfortunately, these guys are just another waste of $$$. I spoke with them on the phone and they couldn't give me a straight answer about anything. I had a simple problem that needed to be resolved and they were going to charge me more than $350!!! So much for the $150 for all repairs. I ended up going to another repair shop that fixed my problem for $125.
Pros: NONE
Cons: rip off, scammers

The guys at Computer Doc NYC are friendly, helpful, knowledgable and pragmatic. They do what needs to be done and they listen to the customer. They don't talk "computerese". They don't try to "up sell" you and they don't suggest unnecessary upgrades etc... They de-bugged my laptop (without having to re-install my operating system) in a couple of hours and intalled the anti-virus software that I desperately needed. And they did this for for $150 LESS than the next closest estimate.
Pros: What's not to like about $100 service?
Cons: None.

I called several places from CitySearch results and like most people, I went with the lowest price. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take to fix my computer, so I liked the idea of paying a flat fee rather than an hourly rate. I called around 4pm, I was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The job (trojan removal, spyware, all that JUNK), took about 1 hour and the service rep advised me on ways to avoid letting these programs back on my computer. I definitely recommend -- no problems.
Pros: knowledgible, fast service

I know have my computer guy for life! I have been through numerous companies (as well as friends who "promise" they can fix it), but I have never had faster or better service than with ComputerDoc. I had a service rep in my house the same afternoon and my computer was back up and running like new in about 2 hours. I taped the phone # to the side of my monitor. I'm sure I'll mess up my computer again at some point and now I won't have to search for help anymore.

When my hard drive crashed, I was so nervous that I was going to lose all of my music. I had more than 200 gb of mp3 files and when my computer crashed I thought I would lose them all. ComputerDoc was able to recover all of my data (not just the mp3s) and re-install Windows. Thank you so much.
Pros: Fast, good price

Yo, this is easiest place I ever dealt with by far! My computer was all messed up from all the different websites I download from and this guy was able to fix it in like 2 hours. It works again, and feels faster than ever. Call these guys, they will hook you up for just $150 -- straight up.

When I saw the add, I was expecting to hear that the $150 flat fee only applies to certain jobs, but was most pleased to find out that it is for any service they provide...that is a great deal. I havn't been happy with my 3 year old computer's performance for the last year or so, but I just kind of ignored it thinking I would buy a new one sooner than later. With the arrival of my first child this past spring, that is pretty much not in the budget anymore so I decided to see if I can get a "tune-up" instead. Most people usually know what is wrong with their computer, but I just knew that mine was slow. After an initial scan and cleanup, the ComptuerDoc showed me that I had more 500! malignant bits of virus, adware, etc. He was very candid and gave me examples that I could understand. A+
Pros: quick service, flat price
