Chocoholic's Dream

The mocha drink in the 'hug mug' was yummy, but the chocolate overpowered the coffee a bit. We didn't try any food, but the menu looked great. It's a fun place with interesting, original desserts. Where else can you get melted chocolate to pour over your chocolate? Try to get a table by the window upstairs and watch the world go by.
- Pros: Interesting, orignal menu
- Cons: Can get very busy
Still better chocolate places in the city

I heard a lot about Max Brenners so I decided to go, but I didnt think it was as good as personal favorite, my Chocolate Bar... still the best chocolate and desserts in town!!

You come in expecting a great meal, atmosphere, and service, and, you get it. The presentation of each item on the menu makes you not want to mess up its display. Pretty fair prices, but all worth it at the end. A great place to take a date or a bunch of friends.
Delicious dessert destination!

So it?s crowded & there?s a wait here (20 mins on weekend evening) but it?s so worthwhile for chocolate-lovers to visit for the pure emphasis on all things CHOCOLATE! My husband & I split a salad (very good but not exceptionally notable or anything like that), then we had the chocolate fondue for 2 ? you get your choice of milk, dark or white chocolate (we got dark & milk), plus they give you caramel sauce, assorted dippables (marshmallows, banana bread & fruit) & a little thing to toast your marshmallows. It was so fun to do & so delectably tasty!! I could?ve easily used more stuff to dip (probably a good idea that we ran outta stuff to dip when we did, it gave me a cut-off point, LOL). Be careful if you order a hot tea, as the cups don?t get hot outside ? which is better for gripping but that doesn?t give you an idea of how hot one?s beverages really are (I burned my tongue). Service was very nice & accommodating. Most of the tables are far away from the mobbed doorway, which helps you to focus on your escape into chocolate bliss! I?m looking forward to trying more stuff here but the fondue was so awesome that I?m not sure I could order something else here for a while?!
- Pros: CHOCOLATE!!! Accomodating staff, wide selection
- Cons: Not-surprising wait/crowds, wide selection (hard to choose what to order LOL)

Max Brenners is a wonderland made out of chocolate. The decor is fun and seductive. Meals you never imagined could taste good made out of chocolate are wonderful at this fun restaurant and dessert place.

Yeah, there might be lots of tourists. But we don't care. As chocolate lovers we could not resist.
We had appetizers and had dessert for our main course. So don't fill up too much on the food, save
your appetite for what they do best - CHOCOLATE! I am taking my sister (just recently moved to NY) and her family to dinner here tomorrow.
Although the seating may be tight, and it could get pretty loud, the service was great and the dessert was out of this world. Love the tea fusion gadget and the egg shaped cup for the hot cocoa. Bravo!
We will definitely be back and will bring relatives, friends and turn others on to this great resteraunt.
- Pros: DESSERTS
- Cons: Some of the menu items were just okay

This restaurant is a Chocolate Lover's Dream Come True! Great food (even their non chocolate dishes!) Ask for them to warm a chocolate cookie or brownie and it makes it even better! Reasonably priced, a great place for adults and children alike!
Best place for every chocolate lover

I first went there with a few friends. it was suggested by one of my friends and he said, " you would Looove it!" and when i first entered, I felt like a kid again with the chocolate that was being made in the barrels, the little chocolate shop they had and the huge tubes up towards the ceiling with so called "chocolate" flowing through it. I ordered a wonderful warm waffle dish served with two 1 scoops milk chocolate and Vanilla of my choice, a Chocolate shot and little chocolate wafer - like pearls and a classic Shake. Everything was Delicious. This Place is Absolutely Perfect for Every Chocolate Lover.

Max Brenner is a store specializing in chocolate dishes. They have standard chocolate dishes such as fondue or crepes, but they also have some bizarre foods such as chocolate pizza. Also, try one of their many hot chocolate drinks! It is thick, sweet and absolutely scrumptious!
Great desserts.

Great deserts, the chocolate soup is my fave. I've only had the veggie burger off their food menu, which was great, but just the smells in this place is enough to go there. Only problem is it's always crowded and the seating is pretty tight. Overall, it's great.
- Pros: Desserts!
- Cons: Seating

I heard raving reviews about this place, but I was sort of let down. I did not think the chocolate was all that great. I had dessert and drinks here. It was expensive and frankly I thought the Hershey's store in Times Square had more to offer in the way of tasty chocolate. There was a annoying wait for a table. The place was noisy and cramped.
