The store's East meets West theme is evident through both its painstakingly designed interior and its high-end casual wear. The soothing entrance sees visitors walk along a thin rivulet of water that passes drastically curved walls, cacti and hexagonal stone tiles to terminate at a large polished tree trunk. The men's and women's clothing is no less impressive, mixing classic Western looks with fashion-forward Japanese touches resulting in an everyday chic collection that includes stiff-yet-soft cotton long-sleeved dresses, hooded denim jackets, cashmere cardigans and flannel pullovers.

Hits: The clothing looks both edgy and casual, making it versatile enough to wear to a ball game or an art opening.

Misses: The store's hip interior is lovely to look at, but to some it might feel like an art gallery instead of a comfortable place to shop.
