I have to say that I love that I found Citysearch a great forum to tell everyone about your favorite places. I am going through my list this week and Lola & Maira is on the top of my list. One of the best kept secrets in fashion. You can always find a little hot dress here. Check them out they are marvelous. XOXOXOXOXO
Pros: You will find just the right item @ Lola & Maria's

Chic, yet comfortable, this boutique offers stylish classics to fit every season and mood. They offer affordable elegant and casual wear and have great sales too! I always come out learning a little about the upcoming designers they feature and find it awesome that they're from around the world. The LES is filled with boutiques, but Lola y Maria has merchandise you can't find anywhere else, (great shoes!) I highly recommend making those extra steps east.
Pros: chic clothing for every occasion
Cons: its closed on mondays

I cant stress my point enough to how much I honestly love this store! Great clothes, great people and HONEST PRICES ( rare in les )!!!!! I also just love the fact that its actually the "save the best for last "- shop on Rivington ( last store on the strip.. or first depending on which way your going) And its the only clothing place I know of thats opened till 8:30 which in retail time is about 1hr later then average. Lets not even talk about the awesome events and sales .... and yes ive been to them all. Kinda cant beat free booze n DISCOUNTS !!!!
Pros: Its soo awesome!!
Cons: It might be TOO awesome?

i've lived in the les/east village for the past four years, and this is one of my all time favorite shops to stop at. since becoming overtly gentrified, the les has procured more and more expensive taste and it's rather rare these days to find something different, affordable, and really freaking cute. this shop has all three. i'm literally in here once a week. i really recommend it to anyone who's tourista-ing it up in the les. albeit the location is a little off the map, it makes it more worth it to find this hidden gem. plus, the people who work there were so laid-back and chill. they never make me feel pressured to buy anything.
Pros: always have new stuff in, really affordable for les, only carry few sizes so not everyone has same pieces
Cons: i can get stuck shopping for hours!!!!
