Fair Prices!
by CinderC
I have to say that as far as my electronics go, I like to buy from places that have a great reputation, been around for a while, decent prices, reasonable exchange policy, and a somewhat knowledgeable staff. I find that this best buy has all of those qualities. The lines go by fast, it’s clean and big for a best buy in a city.
Two months ago my husband and I went shopping for a more superior digital camera. One that can take awesome pictures but not break the bank. We were getting in a bind because it was approaching our son’s first birthday and we knew we needed a new one fast. We checked out some independent camera stores across NYC but found the prices to be simply outrageous. Not to mention the return policy was terrible if any, and we would wait for 20 minutes just to speak to someone in a cramped small store with our 11 month old. When we finally caved and went to Best Buy we were so baffled as to why we didn’t come here in the first place. We got helped almost immediately. Everything about the camera was thoroughly explained to us. The prices were really reasonable, even without any sale going on. It was so smooth that I would recommend other people going here.
This place deserves some credit. I’ve got to hand it to them for their fair prices, it really did make a difference.

this place stinks. People should be more educated now in days when it comes to purchasing electronic items. You can get them CHEAPER off the internet. NOt only are their products overpriced, but their service stinks. Their salespeople also aren't too educated when it comes to some of the more specific questions
- Pros: decent selection, good atmosphere, roomy
- Cons: bad service, the reps are always busy, they don't know what their talking about
A virtual Mecca for gear heads, this electronics giant hawks everything from booming sound systems to notebook-sized personal computers.
