I found The Poochie Place on City Search and decided to take a trip there. It's not a big shop, but it is one of the cutest pet boutiques that I have been in. The first thing you notice is that the place smells really nice. You wouldn't know that they did grooming there. I've been to other grooming shops and they usually smelled awful. I booked an appointment for the following week. I was really pleased with how they took the time to speak with me about what I wanted. They didn't just take my dogs to the back and tell me to come back Iater like other shops did. I have two dogs, Prince, a yorkie, and Princess, a maltese. I had thought that with grooming, you had to get a haircut. They were good enough to tell me that Prince was in good condition and if I did not want to give him a haircut, I did not have to. I know alot of places would push the haircut on you because it costs more. But they didn't. Now Princess can get nasty about getting groomed, but she really needed a haircut. The owners spoke with me about how it was more important that they do what they can and not stress her out too much. They wanted her to get comfortable with them and stressing her out would just make her more adverse to being groomed, not just by them but by anyone. This really showed me that they cared about the pets they worked on. I was so happy when I picked Prince and Princess up. Prince was so fresh and clean. And not only were they able to work on Princess, but they did a beautiful job! She looked so cute! I felt so pleased that I just had to write a review and let people know about this place!

Pros: Caring & honest groomers. Clean place. Smells great. Cute boutique.

Cons: None.
