Stick to the drinks menu

I was excited to try QDT since it looked like a nice place in an area where most affordable lunches barely surpass the level of a TGIFridays. The atmosphere is nice enough: dark woods and jazz suggested a Wall Street crowd that never showed up. And although the menu was limited, there seemed to be enough choices around the $11 range to make it worth choosing something. It took about twenty minutes for the food to arrive -- a surprise since we were the only ones in the restaurant. My wife's salad was brought out with her entree, a forgivable lapse of timing. What was hard to overlook however, was my grilled salmon; salted beyond any human measure and staring up at me in a lake of oil. The fish -- which tasted a few days old -- sat on a bed of spinach which imparted a slight grit on my tongue; nothing a little rinsing couldn't have improved. My wife's salad was fresh, but the dressing was overpowered with vinegar. Her tortellini smelled a little off and had the consistency of baseball card gum. The people seemed friendly enough, and I wouldn't discourage anyone from having a drink there. But if they did, I'd tell them to stick to ordering a burger -- maybe -- and stay safely away from anything demanding more than Pub Food 101.

Good place for drinks, and a bite; with sports and conversation on the side.

Stumbled into it while looking for another place and stayed. Good drinks, decent food and comfortable bar atmosphere with some flat screens scattered about. Crowd was eclectic so I didn't feel out of place. Bar staff was competent and friendly.

• Pros: Seats at the bar. Lively but not stiflingly crowded.
• Cons: Can't think of any.

Great Thursday Night Party

i took some friends to QDT for a party they have on thursday nights and it was great!! the music was fun, mostly R&B and classics. great drink specials and we all loved the brick overn pizza. the sapce is so pretty! i loved the long old fashioned bar and the fireplace. QDT is perfect for a date or an after work drink!

Great Bar Downtown!

My friends and I went to QDT after work last week and we had a great time! The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was great! We're going back tonight infact and it just might become a habit. Great find and definitely recommended.
