Dr. Beldengreen listens to his patients, uses advanced technology for literally almost completely pain-free care.He is an expert at cosmetic dentistry and spent hours matching the bonding on my front tooth because I was reluctant to have a whole new tooth(veneers0. When I broke a tooth on a weekend-he made a special trip into the office and took care of it and he had not even met me at that point-I was just a referral.

After not having been for many years I decided to bite the bullet and go; upon the very high recommendation from a good friend. Dr Beldengreen was so assuring I could sense I had done the right thing. Now he sings Sinatra to me while I am having a check up! The whole experience is so professional yet calming. It starts as soon as you walk in - you are greeted by two beautiful and genuinely welcoming smiles and the experience continues down the same path. I have referred many friends since then and will continue to do so. All are happy to go!

I've known a few dentists in my time. Gil is not the cheapest, but you will be taken care of as if you were his own son (or daughter - does he have one???). He's a real expert in his field, will give it to you straight and will do what is really in your best interest. And his first rule of dentistry is to not hurt someone that could hurt him back. And happily, I'm bigger than he is !! Oh, and he is extremely entertaining into the bargain. You can't really do better that this.

Everyone in New York says they have the best dentist, but they're wrong; I have the best dentist: Gil Beldengreen. Seeing my English teeth as no challenge, I felt immediately relaxed and comfortable in his chair. If you're even slightly phobic he'll put you at ease with a combination of joke-telling (pretend to laugh––we all have to), his singing (he's a better dentist––sorry Gil), and his skill as a raconteur. He's surrounded by the friendliest staff. He's a Professor of Aesthetic Dentistry at NYU. He has the eye and hands of an artist. I guarantee you won't find better.
Pros: Superior technical skill combined with the eye of an artist.
Cons: Can't think of any.
