Our Little Secret
by Mama Foody
Mama Foody comin' live at yah with her point of view. My best friend and I we're looking for a really cool place to dine at, while being casually dressed in sneakers. Mario's is the place where you want to be, so stop looking right now! My tastebuds agreed that the food was toe curling delicious. The ambiance takes one back to a different place in time. The wonderful and gracious staff were very attentive from the time you step foot into the restaurant, until the time you left. And y'all know how I feel about clean bathrooms! Although there is only one, Mario's Trattoria rates ten stars because of the cleanliness, suttle aroma therapy that doesn't aggravate your sinuses and silky hand soap are the bomb! The whole experience was so wonderful that I selfishly hope that not too many people will find out about this spot. Sorry MT!
- Pros: Small, Cozy, Great Food
- Cons: Too full to enjoy desserts!
Great food at a low price.

We had made a reservation across the street but when we walked by and saw this place we quickly changed our minds about where we wanted to eat. The place looked fabulous and it is fabulous. By the taste of the food, I felt like I was eating at an upscale restaurant but at half the price. The service was very good too. This little place has set the Italian restaurant standard to the max.
The food and service were amazing!

Italian secret!

They make their pizzas here in a wood oven. I have tried many of the pizzas on their menu and so far so good. They are prepared with a thin crust. My favorite pizza in the city, well, anywhere. The pasta entrees are very good as well. The staff is nice, and the prices are low. I don't think they make their own desserts though but the tiramisu is also very pleasing.
- Pros: delicous food, good prices, cute restaurant
- Cons: the restaurant only has like 15 tables!
Great place for eating before going to a show.

This little restaurant has some great Italian food. The place is lovely and romantic. Whenever I can I come for Happy Hour. They make some great martinis. I must recommend the calamari for appetizer, Sea Bass for entree, and tartufo for desert with grappa. D-lish!!!
- Pros: Best prices in town
Everything here i great

I love the atmosphere. Sitting right in front of the huge windows looking out is a great view. The pasta is great. I love the eggplant dish and the wine selection is small but carefully chosen.
- Pros: Best pasta!

by Htompkin
sincerely, i was a little sceptical about another pizza , but i have to admit it I was blown away by the flavor of their pizza a lot of real italians were here and I understood that i could trust it a real pizza ala napolita...it sent me direct flight to Roma...!
small cozy place out of the way
by madmax64
Far enough from the main drag to make it a good spot before or after a show. The place is small, but wasn't crowded when I went there. Nice decor, and a tiny full bar in the back (a bit too close to the restrooms, but what the heck). Worth a try.
