I was looking for a decent place in the Bronx- found a listing from ERA champions on craigslist... called, got a woman on the phone who kept calling me 'honey" and "baby" but was actually incredibly rude. It was very hard to set up an appointment to see an apartment, and after a lot of time and effort talking with this imbecil it turns out that these people charge $25, BEFORE you get to see an apartment!! I have never heard of this- its practically a scam!!! The money is non refundable, so if the place is junk then they take your money! WORST BROKER EVER! stay away.
