I've had manicures done here numerous time and the service is great!! The atmosphere and enviornment is calm and relaxing. The place was clean and the staff took care of me. I love the decor of the place. I didn't have to wait and the outcome was just what I wanted. I highly recommend this place!!

Pros: Great location, price and service!!

Cons: Parking is a hassle

I have been coming to spa butterfly since the day it opened its doors, and I am sad to say that I will never return again. In fact, I simply can't make any kind of endorsement for this 'spa' (read upscale nail salon,) since my most recent incident. Today, while treating one of my favorite clients to a manicure, the manicurist jabbed me while trimming my cuticles and cut me!!! I was terrified, mortified and absolutely shocked. To be frank, I had not watched that closely to see how thoroughly my manicurist had disinfected her tools, because I was not anticipating being stabbed in the cuticle with them!!! She was wholly non-plussed by the whole affair and casually offered me some septic to stop the bleeding. Finally, I just cut short the manicure (after she had me pay!!!) and sat with my client while her nails dried. When I asked to speak to the Manager I was told that she was not in the spa and would call me back tomorrow> the girls at the desk tried to assure that I was fine & that they cleaned the instruments, but neither even offered to refund my money (which frankly was the least of my concerns!) My main grouse is this: they have lost that customer service approach which made them so popular to begin with! They are chronically overbooked, working too quickly and compromising service delivery, and often seem to be a true factory for manicures. They have simply grown too quickly to stay as true to who they are when they opened and now, frankly, I will never go back. Be sure to consider this before booking your next appointment> As for me, I have a nail covered in antibiotic cream, wrapped in a band-aid, $15 poorer for a manicure I never even got to get in its entirety! As I said, I will never go back to this nail salon~

Pros: pretty setting

Cons: terrible service and overbooked~

I would come to this place sometimes for my lunch break or after work. When we would make reservations, it never seemed to matter to them. We still had to sit there and wait a long time. Also, when a friend asked for her nails to be cut the manicurists refused to do it. Isn't it policy to give the customer what they want?! Also, the past few times I have gone there my nail polish chips within like 2 days. I will never go back to this place, which is so sad. I used to think it was great and I don't know if they have just gotten popular and have stopped worrying about pleasing the customer.

I work right next to the spa, so getting manis and pedis at lunch is very convenient and relaxing. Or at least, it used to be. I made an appointment this Monday for a friend and I to get manicures. When we got to the spa, there weren't enough technicians working, so we had to get our manicures one after the other instead of at the same time. Not a big deal (although annoying, because it meant we were late coming back to work). There was also another woman who had made an appointment, and had been waiting for over 1/2 an hour. The woman who did our manicures rushed through the entire thing. The polish was sloppy and painted on to my cuticles. She also waited until just after she finished painting my nails before she asked me to pay, which meant I had to reach into my purse with semi-wet nails. The manicure was Monday-it was completely gone by Thursday. Not only was it chipping, it was peeling off in long strips. I have been pleased with Spa Butterfly in the past, but if service and quality do not improve, I will certainly take my business elsewhere.

Pros: Affordable Manicures

Cons: You get what you pay for

I got my nails done last week. The manicurist rushed to get her job done: she soaked my hands for just a minute or so and did a very poor job at trimming my cuticles, although I asked her to remove everything. She then applied nail polish over the cuticles... The nail polish chipped off a few days later.

Pros: nice decor

Cons: mediocre manicure

I worked right around next door, and this place is the place to come. I bring my clients and friends here all the time to get our pedis together! With their hot shoulder packs and great waxing. The atmosphere gives it a warm feeling! I also love the fireplace! so remember to book your appointments and this is a place i defintely recommend to all my colleagues.

Pros: setting and staff

Cons: parking

I"ve been a regular at Spa Butterfly because of their decent and pleasant services and atmosphere but lately they've become nothing but a cheap nail salon, it's very disappointing that they don't honor the reservation or returning customer as they used to,

Pros: near transportation, clean

Cons: rush to take next customer, appointment never began on time

Been there customer for the past 4 month, I loved it for thewre service compare to there price. I went there for a massage to relax my stress that I am getting at my work, but lately I feel like as soon as I walk in they are in a rush to take my money and get me out of that store. No more relaxation what so ever. I would ratere go down the block where it is cheaper for that kind of service. I am sure nobody wants to pay more for the same third class service that they are providing lately.

Pros: Good massage when they wanted to

Cons: Really bad When they don't

I have been to Spa Butterfly many times. I love the services, but have continually found the front desk unhelpful and even rude. I am sorry to say that I am no longer a customer.
