These guys have no clue .. STAY AWAY

So over rated ..

Called to make an apt.. got an attitude

Got my car worked on .. terrible job , car wasnt put back together right screws missing wires were a mess...

Went in because of all the good reviews this place had... looked for some one knowlageable couldnt find it.. dont know who everyone talks about overthere but there was no one worth seeing..

Had to get my car re-done at another shop and pay more money.. WILL NOT RECOMMEND to anyone other than an enemy

I must say how pleased my wife and I are with making the choice of going to Mobile Werks.

First we went to a few local (shady) shops and just got a bad vibe right off the bat. We told them what we wanted and they proceded to tell us we were wrong and needed something else.. Wait arent we the customer and I think I know what I came into your store to buy... So we just kept looking on line and asking some friends where they went and a few told us to check out Mobile Werks, It looked like a very high end store and wasnt sure if we could afford to go there. So I called just to see what they had to offer. To our supprise the guy who answered the phone was very helpful and actually knew what he was talking about. My wife and I went down to the store and met with Andy and Jimmy, they both were very helpful and knew exactly what we wanted and accomodated our requests. We are more than satified and have recomended many of our friends to Mobile Werks and we will be back for some more upgrades in the future.

Warning!!

i bought my first new car. wanted to upgrade the sound system. mobile werks had all but one good review so i tried them out. Jimmy was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We talked stuff over and made and agreement, sadly not on paper though. was told it would be 1100 and take 4 hours. I went back after 5.5 hours and my car was in pieces and they told me they needed to keep it over night, and never called me. i was supposed to get a 10" sub in a temperary box in my trunk, when i picked up my car the guy told me "i didnt like the way it looked (sub) in your trunk so i made a custom box and upgraded it to a 12''. cost me 360 extra dollers for something i didnt ask for nor want. It sounds like crap and looks like crap, makes my trunk completly useless. they blocked my rear folding seats with this "custom box" and they wedged it in so now i cant pull up the trunk liner to get to the spare tire and my adjustable shocks. They broke all the snap pins that hold the trunk liner in place, The shifter and ebrake boots were not put back properly, they only just rested them in place, could be broken cause i couldnt get them to go back right. the carpeting that linkes the whole center consoul between the drivers side and passenger seat is compltly loose and falling off. my car had 3500 miles on it. Oh and the guy that was super cool and nice did not do the work, some punk named ANDY did it. when i told him it wsant what i wanted he just said "well that sucks it will be $1580"

i called a couple times trying to get in contact with Jimmy but he was never there. So i gave up. I have since disputed the charge on my account and getting an appraisal to have the car put back to new and wil promptly sue them to the repair costs.

they sell high end stuff, yes, do they do professional qualty work, NO. If you just want and auto start or rims go there, you cant really mess that up. If you care about your car and want more then something simple done dont go here Unless you like being ripped off and dealing with headaches.

Great results on my Nissan GT-R

I took my 2010 Nissan GTR to Mobile Werks for an upgrade on the Bose premium audio system. Before I decided to work with the guys at Mobile Works I did some research and visited a couple of other shops. Here's the difference; while the "other guys" talked about what could be done, Mobile Werks knew exactly what to do.

For a reasonable budget they vastly improved the sound quality in the car. The work they did also positions me to take the next steps if I choose without having to scrap the previous work. Bottom line is their work was top-notch, they were easy to work with, it was completed on-time and on budget.

AVOID

Avoid this place. Overcharges and you don' t get what you expect from installation. Terrible sales ( ANDY ) who only cares about his business and not your satisfaction. If your looking for PROFESSIONAL installation this is definitely not the place to go. Can't do simple ipod installation and troubleshooting. Andy states he'll gets you a refund / another model but ends up dicking you around. And he also tries to sell you a remote starter at a discount to resolve the issue. LOL.

I have a 2005 lincoln Aviator and I decided to replaced my factory stereo that has a built in six disc changer with a Kenwood DNX 8120 GPS nav system. They did an excellent job and it looks factory installed and they were fast. But the catch is that I wanted to keep full use of my factory installed rear seat entertainment system. Every place that I went to or called told me that It could not be done that I would loose it. Everyone except for Mobile works. The did it and every thing works great and you could not tell that I had work done. They are also very nice and there is no pressure for add-ons but they explain what extras you can get. Once the work is complete they walk you through your new system and how it works. They don't just to AV they sell rims, HID kits and do some mod work as well. I will go back to have other work done on my wifes car. It is professional work done by professionals. I highly recommend them. My only issue was that I wish I would have found them before waisting my time with the others.

Best service and customer relations you can get.

My manual Honda CRV had been broken into two nights in a row. My mistake was taking it to Best Buy in secaucus to install an alarm/starter (Don't EVER get anything done to your car there... EVER!!!) where they completely tore up my wiring and didn't even install the system correctly.(the siren was nowhere to be found and I had the LED light flashing in my face while driving amongst other things) Moblie Werks staff was extremely patient and understanding while being very helpful (removed the old alarm system free of charge and stayed late so I could pick up my car) while proving to be nothing but honest and doing the best job possible. The alarm/starter system they installed works perfectly.

I plan to use Mobile Werks for any type of electrical work on my car from here on.

• Cons: Wish I knew about this place earlier.

Highly recommended Custom Audio/Video Shop

An up and coming shop on the east coast, I think. They do a thorough job on high end cars. When I dropped off my 07 porsche there were a couple of nice cars being worked on, and I monster of a vehicle. The vehicle looked like a tank, they are in the process of completing the entire interior, very impressive. Can't wait to see the finished product. Well as for my car, they did a very nice sound system, alpine radio, focal interiors and subwoofers, and alpine amps, and the valentine one in the rear view mirror. It was perfect, the system was better then I expected, highly recommended.
