Terrible customer service

Two years in the row Tonnie Mini's has make a mistake on a special birthday cake order with a lame attempt at correcting it. I used to be a fan and came only to Tonnie's - and paid his high prices - because of his cakes. But two years in a row messing up the order and not fixing except to take $5 off? If you screw up 1/2 off the cake, taking off a measly $5 is not exactly helping out. You order a special cake the way you want it and look forward to it being correct. Not offer to just take off $5 off a $35 cake. I'll take my business elsewhere. Too many other great cupcake bakeries in town.

I have been a loyal customer to Tonnie's Mini's since 2002. To me the cupcakes/cakes are phenomonal! I will never forget the first bite of the Taste of Coconut mini shot cupcake w/ cream cheese frosting. I was taken aback with the freshly home-baked, moist and buttery morsel. I've used them for all of my personal corporate events and they always receive rave reviews. I recommend Chocolate Kiss; however everything is really yummy! Treat yourself.

BEST CUPCAKES EVER!

I have to say I have had many deserts in my life but this by far is the most delicious, tasty, addicting cupcake I have ever had. The owner is so sweet. I got there like 5 minutes before closing and the owner said "next time just call I will always wait for my customers" . I thought to myself "now that is customer service. Al I have to say is Yummmmmmmmmy. ( be warned they are very addicting) I come all the way from Jersey to get them.

Good stuff!!

Their cheesesteak sandwich is soooo good. I love the pepper sauce that they use on it. Not too spicy and a bit tangy. The cupcakes are also quite delicious. The service is always really great as well. They are alway eager to help and take the time explain all the different types of cupcakes to first-timers. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.

Red velvet = red heaven

This craving came at me like a ton of bricks: I needed red velvet cake. Just wandering around with a friend looking for a quick cup of coffee, we stumbled upon Tonnie's Minis and I am oh-so happy we did. Seriously, it was the best damn cupcake I've ever had. Perfectly moist, not too dense, and the icing! I'm not a fan of most icing; it generally ends up scraped off onto the plate, but this icing was definitely the finger-licking exception! Not too sweet, not too heavy, not too much... perfectly delicious. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back. But this time, not for coffee. It was a Wednesday night around 8:30pm and when I ordered an espresso, I was told they only had decaf (uh, no thanks - pointless, much?) and then when asked if I wanted cream or milk and responded with cream, I was told they were out of it. Fortunately, the cupcake was so good it really didn't matter. ...Agggghhhhhh now I want another one!

Orgazzzzmic Cupcakes!!!!

Ok so i wasnt ready for what i was about to eat.. I thought it was just any normal cupcake that i had a craving for.. when i bit in i couldnt believe my mouth.. it was the best cupcake i ever had in my life... the cake was moist, the icing was perfect and it was just orgazzzmic.. thats the only way to describe it.. i wanted to continue to eat more but i knew that if i did it would be all gone.. so i had to chew slowly and get abox for myself.. I had the redvelvet mix cupcake, vanilla with sprinkles, chocolate ... yeah they are that good.. my next plan is to work out for a full day non stop and go and get a box for myself... I say dont share because it will be less for you..

If you have an event or house warming i say bring these they will be the talk of the party!

Amazing Cupcakes!

Ok, so the first time I went there, it just looked like a simple place with a showcase of cupcakes. The owner gave me the "tour" and explained to me what they had. I got a box of 12 - and, between 4 of us, they were gone within an hour when I got home. They are sooo good - moist and sweet, but not too sweet - the frosting is creamy but delicious and doesn't overwhelm the perfect cake. They have a cheesecake cupcake that is seriously to die for. All the people working there are super nice and helpful. If you like cupcakes, which it seems like everyone in the city does, then you have to try this place out!

The cupcakes are incredible

Tonnie's Minis hands down makes the most delicious cupcakes in North America! They have such a light, moist, fluffy recipe that is nothing short of addictive. One taste of any flavor and you are hooked...His cream cheese icing is heavenly but I love the strawberry and carrot the best! Tonnie's Minis has been kissed by the cupcake angels...I definitely see a franchise in the future!

Beats the rest.

Cupcakes have indeed become a phenomenon in this city, and it's no wonder that more people are getting their hands in. Tonnie's has figured it out though. Each cake they make is uniquely flavored and topped. The fellow who bakes these is a true artist. I don't know what they do, but these are the most succulently moist cakes in the 212. The strawberry ones are sublime.
