Angelo did my wedding dress and I can't say enough good things about him, the dress and the shop. I would recommend Angelo to any bride who wants to avoid the bridal shop anxiety and madness that is the norm in NYC. Angelo's boutique is welcoming and relaxed. No attitude. No rushing. The boutique is more like an intimate living room than a retail shop, and the whole experience is old fashioned in that you get personalized attention. You'll feel more like a friend of the designer than a customer. The dresses are beautiful. Simple, flowy, bias cut and often with layers of chiffon. It your style is "less is more," then Angelo is for you. But if you're more into the ornate-- pearls, sequins, corsets, big poufy stuff-- then don't bother.
Pros: Personalized service, great atmosphere, beautiful clothes
Cons: A little on the pricey side
