Cured my Anxiety

Anxiety was starting to take over my life. Some family tragedies and some very tough years at work contributed to my anxiety getting out of hand. I had gone to gabriel for a back issue many of years ago and since he was so successful with my back I contacted him about the anxiety. We did acupuncture twice a week for 2 months. At the end of the two months my anxiety was 1/10 of what it was before I started. It was actually amazing. I couldn't believe how much better I felt after the first treatment and after each following treatment it kept getting better and more manageable. I now go once every other week and feel sooooo much better. Acupuncture was a life saver.

Cured my Back Pain for the Marathon

I was running in the Marathon this past weekend and hurt my back training 2 weeks before. I wasn't going to miss it. My husband goes to the Sher Acupuncture Center and insisted that I go. I was a little resistant but after the first treatment my lower back was 80% better. I saw him 3 more times and by Marathon Sunday my back was 100%. I ran without pain in a time of 3 hours and 42 min. Amazing day and I owe so much to gabriel. He is a fantastic acupuncturist and healer.

Baby Girl

After a stillbirth at 36 weeks of pregnancy (conceived by IUI) and 6 attempted IUI/IVF cycles, my husband and I were feeling hopeless. I was 39 years old and my fertility specialist told me that he had done all he could do to help us get pregnant. My ovaries were just not responding well to the medications. So, that summer my husband and I decided to take a break from treatment. My body was worn down and emotionally I was a wreck. We agreed that we would focus on getting me healthier.

I decided to begin yoga to help me with my stress management and to try to get my body into better shape. I also had heard about using acupuncture for infertility. I did some research on-line and that is when I discovered Gabriel Sher. I made an appointment that changed our lives.

When I met with Gabriel Sher he was very comforting and gave me hope that there was still a possibility that we could get pregnant. We discussed trying only acupuncture for a while and if that was not working alone, then I might want to consider adding back in some traditional fertility treatment. She gave me specific instructions about changing some things in my diet such as no caffeine, no cold liquids, no alcohol and eating organic foods. He also gave me a tea to drink every morning and every night. I also began seeing him for acupuncture treatments once a week and charting my body basal temperature every morning.

After 3 months of sticking to everything in the plan, I went in for one of my weekly appointments. After looking at my body basal temperature chart Gabriel looked at me and said, “I think you are pregnant. Go home and take a pregnancy test.” I did not believe him. I did not feel pregnant, but I did as he said and the test was positive. We were so excited. Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in miscarriage. Although we were devastated again, we were now hopeful that we could get pregnant without using traditional fertility medications and this seemed to be what was working best for my body.

We continued on with the plan and after another 3 months we were pregnant again. What we had not been able to do in 2 years with fertility medications, we had now been able to do twice in 6 months with Gabriel and his treatment plan. We were so overjoyed and hopeful that this pregnancy would be a positive one.

Well, that was about 9 months ago and on September 28 we delivered a healthy beautiful baby girl. She is already the love of our lives and we are so grateful to have her.

We are so eternally thankful to Gabriel that we cannot put it in to words. He helped us when we felt like we were at the end of the road. Acupuncture and a few lifestyle changes helped us to get to where we are today….the proud parents of our precious little girl.

Amazing Change!

In late summer 2010, I was suffering from extreme back pain and was tired of muscle relaxants and pain pills. I came to Sher Acupuncture Center (on a recommendation) and was amazed. My back pain got so much better. I went 3 times and had to go again in December due to a mild flare up. My back is so much better and I recommend Gabriel to everyone. After being a Nurse for 10 years, I was a skeptic - but it worked - and my back has never felt better!” Nice to experience alternative medicine.

Great Acupuncturist!

I was really disappointed when doctors diagnosed me with IBS but gave me no treatment options. I had severe problems with my digestion that progressed over several years. After eating I was uncomfortable, bloated, had stomach pain and was lethargic. The fatigue I was experiencing made it difficult to function. I began to feel improvements immediately after starting acupuncture, herbal medicine and the dietary changes that Gabriel suggested.Gabriel changed my whole diet and was very aggressive with herbs so that I could see change quickly. At this time my condition is 99% better, I rarely feel discomfort, and have more energy. I never knew that I could feel this amazing after eating. Thanks to acupuncture with Gabriel, I enjoy food and eating and am living a better life.”

Changed my Health

I turned to Gabriel when conventional Western medicine was unable to ease my symptoms of digestive pain and discomfort. I had reached a point where I no longer knew what to eat because everything seemed to cause discomfort. He was meticulous with his questioning and diagnosis. Some of the questions were a little different as they did not seem directly linked to what I perceived as the problem but he assured me everything in Chinese Medicine is related. He changed my diet and made a Chinese herbal formula for me. Depending upon how I reacted to the treatment; Gabriel would fine tune the acupuncture and the herbs so I would continue on my path toward optimal health. Through diligent adherence to the program of treatment, I felt like my metabolism had completely changed. Not only was I pain free but I was sleeping better, had more energy, and felt more in balance. After 3 months I stopped the herbs. I still work within the dietary guidelines Gabriel set up for me. I eat out in restaurants which I wasn't previously able to do and I have been able to sleep better and stay more relaxed. I am indebted to Gabriel for changing my health and making me a much more balanced person.

Fantastic Acupuncturist and a Great healer!

Gabriel is the best Acupuncturist! My cycle was all off and I was having the worst menstrual pains. Gabriel put me on herbs and did acupuncture for a month. My cycle regulated itself and the physical and mental symptoms are almost non existent. Gabriel is great with the herbs. Don't be scared of them they work like magic. I see him twice a month and take herbs the week before my cycle. I am a changed person and my boyfriend calls him every week to thank him.

The Best!

I was scared out of my mind to try acupuncture but everyone in my office goes to The Sher Acupuncture Center and loves it. I got tired of hearing everyone say how amazing it was so I went and they all laughed when I came back to the office. I felt a million times better. Gabriel is amazing. He is a great listener and I couldn't of felt more comfortable. What a great experience. I have been officially added to the fan club.

Pregnant!

I had the hardest time getting pregnant and I tried everything. I was recommended acupuncture by a good friend as an alternative to ivf and a iui. It took 2 cycles. Gabriel worked with me to understand the ovulation process and map out a good schedule for my husband and I. I did acupuncture twice a week and Gabriel put me on some not so great tasting herbs. I would of drank anything. I couldn't be happier. I recommend Gabriel to everyone I know.

FREE OF NECK PAIN! AMAZING

I looked like a crazy person when I walked in to the Sher Acupuncture Center since I couldn't move my neck at all. I was so stiff from sleeping wrong. I was so uncomfortable that my girlfriend said I should try her acupuncturist. Gabriel did his things with the needles and put heat on my neck and did cupping after. I was there for awhile but my neck was 80% better. AMAZING! I went 3 days in a row and now I'm 100% perfect. He really is awesome and now know why my girlfriend sees him regularly. Great experience!
