Best Kids Party

I recently had my sons 5th b-day party with Mini Chef.The party was absoultely awesome!!. I have gotten email after email from all the moms and have been told by all the mothers at school even one week later telling me that it was the best kids party ever!! We had 24 kids and make your own cupcakes. We also had facepainting and food for adults. The kids were laughing and entertained with huges smiles on their faces the entire party. A number of parents commented that there children dont usually participate at birthday parties and couldnt believe how much fun their children were having. The magician was fabulous. There was tons of staff to make sure all kids participated and no kid was left out. Alyssa was so professional and was patient with me and held my hand every step of the way. My husband cant stop raving about her. I plan to use you next year for my daughters birthday. I cant thank you enough Alyssa and Mini Chef for giving by son the party of his dreams. The only thing is I know Ill never top this party..

Ex-employees of Mini Chef writing negative reviews

It is more than unfortunate when fired employees need to insult Mini Chef, its staff and the owner on the Citysearch website. Citysearch is a place where customers use reviews as a resource. Placing false reviews not only tries to discredit Mini Chef but also, discredits the Citysearch site. In over two years I am proud to say Mini Chef has never had a party like the one you describe below. To our fired employee: You were fired for your amateur work ethic, please find other things to do than write about Mini Chef.

This is not the same old kids party that you have been to 50 times!!!!

We had a cupcake baking party at Kelly & Peng for our son's 4th birthday. The restaurant space has a great vibe and as each child came to the party, a staff member put an apron on him, took him to wash his hands and seated him at the baking table. The kids loved mixing the ingredients and then had fun watching a magic show. My son, who is usually shy and not willing to participate, was hysterically laughing as were all the other kids. It was non stop laughter for the whole show. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful allowing parents to have coffee (in real mugs!!!) and snacks while the kids were entertained. Alyssa was very easygoing and even arranged to have kosher pizza to accomodate our needs. We all loved it!

Best 5 year old birthday party!

I just had my 5 year old daughter's birthday party with Mini Chefs and it was the best party we ever had. Alyssa and her staff helped 25 kids make pizzas from scratch with traditional and special toppings like chocolate chips, marshmallows, pepperoni, peppers and the kids loved it! While the pizza baked, Alyssa arranged a magician to entertain the kids and the laughter was probably heard on the street. I have a shy little girl and she didn't stop smiling from beginning to end. Alyssa and her staff saw to it that every child was well attended and the adults had their own refreshments to keep them occupied. I would definitely recommend Mini Chefs and Alyssa to anyone without reservation!!

Great kids bday party & party space

We had our daughter's 3rd bday party here and it was a great success. Alyssa and Alex are gracious and very accomodating, and the staff helpers are wonderful as well. Highly recommend the great garden space, it was organized and relaxed and everyone had alot of fun. We have taken classes here as well. Kudos Alyssa on your well deserved press and look forward to attending another class soon.

Best Birthday Party!

We had my daughter's 3rd birthday here and my friends are still talking about how great it was. Alyssa was awesome! She did everything and very tastefully done. All we had to do was show up. The garden was decorated beautifully, the "adult" food was DELICIOUS. and the kids had the BEST time making cupcakes. While they were cooking, there was a magic show and all the kids were hysterical!! It was so great. My daughter still asks me if i remember how funny he was. I can't say enough good things.

BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY!

I have a 6 year old daugther and it's hard to find new party ideas in the city. I came across Mini Chef in Urban Baby and thought it was a really fresh and different idea. I booked my daughter's birthday party with 15 other kids and it was a success! They had so much fun making cupcakes and decorating them. I even signed her up for the cooking classes.

My entire experience was really nice. Alyssa, the owner provides a full service package. Invitations, goodie bags, cakes, buffet breakfast for adults and a magic show. I would highly recommend this. It was nice to see the kids doing something hands on.

What a great concept!

Bravo Mini Chef NYC! I had my daughter's birthday with Mini Chef and I have to say I was very impressed. Alyssa, the owner of the company was a dream to deal with. She arranged everything perfectly! It was so nice to see all the kids preparing the cupcakes, mixing the ingredients together, laughing, playing, etc... During the break, while the cupcakes are baking, we had a magic show, kids were so into it! Everybody had such a great time! I would spread the word about Mini Chef NYC as much as I can, I just love it!
