Modern cut

Since I discovered the Salon and Jacob on Citysearch I felt an obligation to sign up for an account and leave this glowing review. Jacob had a very comfortable personality and gave me the cut I have been trying to get for years. It is modern and fresh and most importantly still me. We discussed the idea of a bob and a brazillian blowout out a future date, but there was no pressure. The two girls in the chairs beside me both left with stunning hairstyles so I'd be happy to have any of the stylists work on my hair. Jacob even offered that I could return this week for a blow drying lesson if I couldn't get it to flip correctly on my own. I'll be back for sure, and at $75, I feel like this is a great salon to have in my neighborhood.

First time client. First review on citysearch. 25% discount? definitely take advantage of that. Jacob is absolutely fantastic. The treatment & the cut are amazing. I am no longer suffering from having to deal with frizzy hair. The atmosphere is soothing, and he makes what could be an uncomfortable or embarrassing experience, actually enjoyable. I would tell anyone to go see Jacob immediately! I found him on citysearch and its only fair that I write a review and my personal experience with Jacob and Artistik salon. I’ll be back for color

Always happy and satisfied by Alberts job

I've been seeing Albert for over a year and I only recently found out about citysearch, otherwise I would have written him a review MONTHS AGO had I known I could, since I will NEVER be going to get my hair done by ANYONE ELSE! EVERYONE in the salon is friendly and fun and the could-be-regular or even scary hair experience has become fun and something I look forward to. Albert is the best. He always listens, he's talented and he knows what he is doing more than any other stylist I had in the past. Color, cut, treatments, glaze, styling, brazilian treatments- - he knows it all. He is indeed very creative and loves to enjoy what he is doing and so change is always welcomed. His talent for fashion and current trends is impeccable and more than anything, he makes sure that whatever color he gives you fits your being as well as fits your lifestyle. You can really feel he understands YOU and doesn't just color your hair automatically. I don't spend too much time on my hair and he knows it as he is giving me color that's low maintenance to manage. His tips will surprise you and are extremely easy to follow... I can't ask for anything more. What can I say... it's very refreshing to walk into a hair salon and feel no fakeness, no attitude. At Fine Artistik Salon, you can see that all the team get along with each other, what a concept!!! They actually enjoy working there and love each other. I always make sure to make my appointment before a dinner date or an event or a night out because I already know Albert will make me look so great, I always walk out of there in a good mood, full of confidence and, yes, I always get compliments, that hasn't failed yet. I say Albert is the best. I am very glad to write this review and actually- - I now going to make an appointment! The new COMFORTABLE washing sinks were a GREAT idea

Nick rocked my color and haircut

An AMAZING experience! This salon offered the most inviting, enjoyable, and sexiest ambiance, without a bit of the pomposity that might be expected given the careful attention and superb quality you receive at artistik salon. All this is probably due to the conscientious finesse of the staff. Nick, my stylist looked clean and well dressed. He gave me BEAUTIFUL overall color and highlights and applied some treatments that brought back my hair to life (I also loved the fact the Albert was staying on top of everything and following through). Not did he only rock the color he also ROCKED the haircut. He got to know my hair better than I did in the short time I was there and snipped and styled until I looked like a movie star! Can’t wait to go back for highlights and haircut with him. I was extremely impressed this time with the look of uncontrived glamour Nick gave me. I received countless compliments on my look afterwards.

simply inlove with my hair

How often do you get compliments on your hair--daily now! I went to upscale madison ave salons, but grew weary their attitude. Its taken me years to find the perfect salon and stylists in New York. I have had many hack jobs. Heard about artistik salon from a friend. Read the reviews and booked an appointment. Jacob & Albert are miracle workers. They truly have a keen artistic eye and aesthetic so I gave them carte blanche to make changes and update my boring style and color. I had a consultation with Albert as far as colour and a consultation with Jacob as far as the cut & style. No other stylist/colourist have been so detailed and thoughtful about their questions and consideration for style and maintenance. From beginning to end, the experience was flawless. I felt trust immediately. They both have a wonderful personality and are fun to chat with. They’re sooo funny! Wow! my hair turned out ravishing. I couldn't be happier. Nothing pretentious about the salon. The entire staff is talented and friendly. Can't wait to go back! It is a nice place, the job and price was much better than the madison ave salons, and I love the new look. Extremely HAPPY!

RUSH TO SEE ALBERT!

I was in dire need of a color and hair cut. New to town, just moved in and settled, I turned to my trusty Citysearch for help. Fine Artistik Salon to the rescue. Got great reviews and is close to my house. Ended up getting an appointment with Albert. When I got there, there were a few stylists at their chairs with their clients but no one at the front desk. A stylist turned to me, greeted me and said he was Albert. I waited a couple minutes before he was finishing with his client then he walked over and asked me to be seated in his chair for a consultation. Albert was extremely nice, very chatty, funny, and professional. Seemed like we have so much in common. He cut 10+ inches off for me...I was happy to donate it to Locks of Love. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I ended up with the exact style as I showed on the picture. The color was just phenomenal. I'm happy with my color and hair cut. Albert did not rush and was very thorough. He also showed me how to do my bangs in a really flattering way. I can’t wait to see him again. If you have a picture you're trying to emulate, make sure you have a thorough conversation with him about whether it'll work with your hair type. Recommend!

I believed the reviews and so should you!

I went to Artistik Salon after seeing the amazing reviews on Yelp and the incentive of 25% off for new customers (coupon is on their website). The salon is modern and intimate with a lively and fun atmosphere (wine!!!). It's not too trendy and loud or pretentious and stuffy... it was just right. It's also fairly priced especially for the high level of service and professionalism.

Jacob did a wonderful job, he was receptive to my needs giving me a great cut and blowout. Jacob and Albert kept me laughing the whole time... I'll definitely be going back!

Thank you Albert for being there on my wedding day

Artistik salon’s service is absolutely impeccable. From the chic south beach decor to the friendly staff it is a wonderful experience! Best of all is the perfect stylist, Albert! As soon as you meet Albert your worries and tension melt instantly. I came for a bridal consultation and he knew exactly what he was saying and offering. Albert is extremely friendly, knowledgeable. I saw the passion in his eyes and knew he was the man to do my hair for my wedding day. He did my entire color and what he gave me was better than I had envisioned and the trial was beyond my expectations! He asked which dress style I was wearing and gave me a few ideas which hair styles would accommodate the dress and my features. I am super picky and I am VERY impressed with his work! Almost forgot- the prices are amazingly affordable for the highest of EXCELLENT services and a remarkable job! At the day of my wedding Albert arrived on time. Calmed me down and assured me that all will be OK. He styled my hair and 7 other bridesmaids, and all was done on time! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE at the wedding was WOWed by my hair. Bridesmaids looked HOT! The pictures came out stunning. Thank you Albert! I am thankful to your talent and what you’ve done for me on my wedding day.
