This Brooklyn shop attracts everyone from Pratt students to lifelong Fort Greene residents. A blond-wood interior envelops the collection of about 15 men's and women's labels (several of which are based locally). For men, tennis shoes, Earnest Sewn and Paper Denim & Cloth jeans, hooded sweatshirts, nubby long-sleeved shirts, cords and plaid scarves make for an urban woodsy look. For women, comfy sweaters in wine and cream, pleated jumpers, lacy blouses and baseball-style shirts with red sleeves are modern updates to retro styles.
