One Of A KInd

I first shopped the original store back in 1986 and just returned from the new store today.Like a fine wine this place just improves with age.Sort of like seeing a long lost friend again.One of a kind shopping experience that only The cockpit could offer.Went in looking for a B3 for my wife and ended up buying an A1 for myself.Judging from my past purchases looks like this new edition will be around for a long time to come.

Marc and the rest of the staff at Cockpit USA were great! They, as always, offer such a great shopping experience. Their suggestions and feedback for a new fall jacket were spot on. I even had the pleasure of communicating with the owner through email! She responded quickly and was more than helpful. I am extremely pleased with my recent visit to their store and look forward to returning soon. Keep up the great work!!!

Great Jackets!

In the mid 80s I purchased an Avirex (aka The Cockpit) raider jacket. I loved it for its quality and durability. The leather just got better with age. In 2005 my home was burglarized during a remodel. They got everything, but the only item taken that really broke my heart was my jacket. I’m using my 10% off coupon to buy a new one.

Great experience for both variety and quality

Cockpit offers both male and female stylish apparel with unique items for a reasonable price that you cannot find often in the city. The employees are friendly and willing to help you by providing suggestions or answering questions that you have regarding the clothing. I would definitely recommend Cockpit to anyone looking for a place to shop in NYC that isn't just like every other store!

This store is defintely a must-see part of the soho/noho area... The unique decor, and aesethics of the store give you an at home feeling while you're shopping. Not to mention it has great stuff, that you can't find anywhere else. If you're buying a leather jacket there is really no where else to go- I got a great motorcycle jacket that I get compliments on EVERY time I where it! Gotta check it out :)

If first impressions is truly a measuring guide in the shopping market then all of NYC should be shopping at the "Cockpit". I felt both Awe and Pride when I first glanced in this store, or should I say museum. As a veteran of the US Army and as a professional Advocate for Veterans and their families, it was a tremendously proud feeling seeing the best of what America stands for represented in the Cockpit...and the best part...you can purchase a piece of that history and look amazingly stylish at the same time. I highly-highly recommend this museum store for taking the family on an inexpensive educational shopping spree. Its like going to the American Museum and buying whats behind the glass. The owners were especially warm and helpful, having served in the US MIlitary themselves and it sure reflects in the museum quality displays throughout the store. But again, I must emphasize the high quality yet inexpensiveness of the merchandise. So please, do yourself a favor, walk down to Bleeker and Broadway, find the "Cockpit", and enter the epitomy "Americana" ....and purchase parts of it for yourself and others.
