From the moment you walk in, the staff at Rosangela takes your stress away. The entire staff is friendly, courteous, diligent and professional. They make even the most potentially awkward and painful of services easy. I have been with Rosangela as a waxing client for over 2 years; however, I recently made the leap to laser and I love it. I noticed results after the third treatment and the hair continues to diminish each time I go. Ingrowns are no more! The pain is minimal and Roseangela can adjust if you feel any discomfort. She is fantastic; incredibly detail-oriented and customer service minded, she can tell when my day has been hectic and offers me a cup of tea or water to help ease my way in the door. I have tried everything from laser and eyebrow shaping to tanning, massage and mani/pedi and I have never been disappointed! Rosangela Skin Care & Spa is truly a hidden gem, setting itself apart from the impersonal big name spots.

I found Rosangela on citysearch and now I am so glad I tried it! First I had a Brazilian wax. Lisa was wonderful and was so thorough and relaxing. Never had I wanted to sleep while being waxed. After my Brazilian and arm wax I felt revived as if I just stepped out of a facial or massage! Next I tried a mani/pedi with Selena. She is amazing and gentle and SUPER sweet! The pedicure was great and my feet are so smooth thanks to the machine they use. One week later and my manicure (other than one tiny chip on my index finger) is still in tact. Well worth the trip; don't waste your money on a side street salon...go to Rosangela instead!

I was a religious brazilian bikini waxer for years (by the way Roseangela is phenomenal at Brazilian bikini waxing); however I love the laser hair removal. I just finished my third treatment and I am so pleased with the results. I noticed results after the first treatment and the hair disappears more and more with each time I go. Pain factor? minimal and Roseangela will adjust the machine setting if you are feeling any discomfort. Don't be scared by the sunglasses you have to wear during the treatment,,it's just a safety precaution. On a different note..Roseangela gives a killer facial..your skin will thank you...give it a try.

Going to Rosangela for eyebrows feels like as much of a treat as a massage. Her space is cozy and inviting, and she definitely puts you at ease as she goes after your eyebrows with her super fast tweezers. No waxing - she does tweezing for the eyebrows - and she made me like my eyebrows for the first time in my life. I've tried to maintain the shape at home but I give up - I just go to her once a month or so and let her work her magic. She also stays open late so you can run over after work. I really look forward to my visits!

The pedicure with the electric file is sublime, and the professional who does both the pedicures and manicures is friendly and professional. For a nice, spa mani/pedi (as opposed to the quickie on the workweek), head to Rosangela's!

I got my eybrows done by Dina. She was super friendly and took her time, and is in the salon on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays. My eyebrows have never looked so good. It was 20$ and very very worth it (she used tweezers and scissors, and a little bit of some kind of wax...I don't think they do the traditional style waxing). She shaped my eyebrows and definitely listed to what I had to say, I have never been so happy with they way they turned out! The salon is clean and quiet, the staff is very friendly and professional. I have been to so many salons trying to find a place that does a great job with eyebrows, and now I wouldn't go anywhere else but Rosangela.

I have followed Rosangela from spa to spa until she finally opened a place for herself - she is AMAZING! I live on the UWS and it is not an easy trek for me to get to her UES location but I do it every three weeks because she really is that great! I won't say it's painless, but she makes getting a brazilian as painless as possible. Plus, she is so kind and thoughtful and makes you feel at home whenever you stop in. On a side note, I did get a massage when she first opened and it was incredible as well! Great place!

As a massage therapist I have received MANY bodywork treatments. I was visiting a friend in nyc who has been a devotee to Roseangela for a few years now. I decided to check it out and a receive a massage while she had her usual body exfoliation. Without gushing too much, it was the best massage I have ever had. Karla was my therapist and her amazing treatment called upon a diverse blend of modalities. From the perfect amount of pressure to effective stretches, Karla has a true gift for bodywork. Take yourself, send your friends. The entire staff is a pleasure.

I love Rosangela spa! I have been going to Rosangela for years. She is a total professional and a great person. Her employees are all up to the same standard. Since she opened the spa, I have been going to Selina for my manicure and pedicure. She gives the same attention to detail and perfect service as Rosangela does with her waxing. So much better than your average nail salon and much better than other spas like Bliss that charge 3 times as much. I don't live or work in the neighborhood, but it's worth the special trip!

Rosangela is great! I'm a loyal customer & go every 3 wks. When it comes to anything remotely painful I'm a chicken, but she made my waxing experience virtually pain free and quick. The facials are great. Everyone comments on my "glowing" skin afterwards. She's very thorough, gentle, sweet and gives great beauty tips for the budget conscious. The place is also impeccably clean and sanitary. I send all my friends/family there & she has gift certificates too.

Pros: On time, gift certificates, clean/sanitary

Cons: Location if you don't live on the Eastside, but worth the trip
