Italian-American food from the team behind Goodburger focuses on brick oven pizza.
Excellent Pizza In A Houston-esque Setting
by qtgurljny
The name Deans + pizza probably conjures up a visualization of some rusty looking pizzaria where you question anything other the pizza to go. At least that's what I thought at first. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Deans is huge and has that Houston's (that great foodie chain) like decor (except it's lit rather than dark) and EXCELLENT pizza! The regular pizza with garlic, warmed in a brick oven (I've sat in front of it) is seriously excellent. Everything else on the menu is average to good but the pizza and a bottle of wine is the way to go. Try it if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.
Try the pepperoni
by noak11
Excellent old school thin crust pizza. The pepperoni is delicous- fresh, thick slices. The food is about as gourmet as pizza can get. It is one of my favorites and probably the place I go to most often. It's a little expensive, but if you want cheap Domino's why are you even looking this up? You want quality, you want Dean's. The delivery is always prompt- my only complaint is that they don't deliver after 10:00 pm.
- Pros: Delicious Thin Crust, Fast Delivery
- Cons: No delivery after 10pm
Great Pizza!

My co worker and I go there a lot. We tried their new square pizza, this place is amazing; Great pizza, good service, great desserts, their delivery is also pretty good. The prices are reasonable, nice decor, good wine list. Great place.
Pros: Great Pizza

Avoid - Terrible Service

Delivery service absolutely s-uuck-s. Terrible since they have opened and as of May 07 they still have their heads up their asses. Avoid this place.
- Pros: awful
- Cons: awful
Great find - GREAT prices
by grizman23
My friend and I recently ate here on a whim and were really impressed. The food prices are beyond reasonable and extremely delicious. The atmosphere is cool without being pretentious, and the service was friendly. Try the calamari, the pizza's are great, and the desserts are amazing - like really amazing. The also have a nice selection of wines... You can't beat this place for the price value and the meal they will deliver for that price.
- Pros: the food, the prices, desserts!
GREAT PIZZA!!!
by chadlatourneau
We are pizza affiosionnados! Finally a casual reasonable place to go in neigbourhood. Service was good, friendly and polite. We like the Godive cappuccino the manager suggested. We never thought about spicing up a capuccino, but the canolli blew our minds! Awesome stuff! The guy before me was obviously cheap! lol!!!
pretty good

It's nice to have another moderately priced restaurant in the neighborhood. Pizza is pretty good and very fresh. The service was a little off when we went there last month. The waitress had obviously been trained to describe how the menu worked and she kept trying to upsell us on drinks, salads, desserts, coffee. We just wanted pizza and the menu was pretty self explanatory. We didn't need all the attention and pressure. I didn't know this was owned by the same people who own goodburger. Goodburger started out great but has really gone downhill as far as service and prices are concerned.
- Pros: fresh pizza
- Cons: strange service
Great Pizza and down to earth service
by zabbagone
First the rolls then the siciliana and finally ..."TRARRRAAAA!" the pizza gave it away! Look around the city and you'll find a Patsy's or an Angelos around when you need it. But there wasn't anything around where I live. Until I walked into Dean's pizzeria! I had the greatest pizza, just the wy I like it, thin crust, real cheese...the fresh mozzarella and the sauce not too sweet, not too tart ,perfect with the basil . Just what we needed in the neibourhood. Our server was really nice and what really made an impression on us was the two managers. They told us how they were affiliated with Patsys, Angelos and Goodburger, they treated us like we were home and part of the family. We went back the following two nights. It was great but what was really annoying was that we couldn't have half portions. We wanted to try different things and probabaly would of ordered more but settled on having the same thing. The server and the managers were nice about it but they wouldn't bend. They do it at Patsys and angelos why not Deans?
Just what the neighborhood needed!

For anyone craving delicious Italian food, Dean's is the place, whether its a quick lunch, 4-course dinner, or after-work cocktails. I've eaten a handful of times, and have been consistently wowed by the mouth-watering dishes and the helpful service. Don't leave without trying a Napoleon!
