This place is excellent.. came in with a few freinds on a Saturday night. They have a great wine selection and unique tapas menu. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Great to go out with a group of freinds or a small party. A little hard to find but other than that no complaints
Pros: Tasty wines and great service
Cons: small

Skeptically, I tried the new small plates place "Unwined, not expecting much. Since it was part of Sypmphony Space, I didn't think it would attract a great Chef. Well fortunately it did and if you are a foodie like me, you will be enormously surprised by the big flavor in the small bites. A friend and I ordered half the items on the menu and each one was thoughtfully composed and made us wonder exactly what all the flavors were, to make each one so interesting. We had the mixed green salad with caramelized grapefruit and mild blue cheese, which is unbelievably refreshing. Then we had the Chef’s sweet twist on Foie Gras. He creatively places bite size pieces individually on sugar canes spears paired with pear. And if you are not feeling adventurous, he makes simply one of the best small burgers on a parker bun. To pair with the food they have a great selection of wine reasonably priced The style is cozy, but modern. The grey couches make it a great place for a first date or meeting friends for a drink. However the sleek bar tables lends it self, for business meetings too. The place is not large which helps create its intimacy. But, because it's new, I believe it is not too hard to get a sit, but once people discover this place it may be a bit difficult to get into. My favorite night is Thursday, as they have the singer from the Spin Doctors playing and get this NO COVER. Part of me hesitated to right this review, as I love that there is a great new local spot that’s easy to get into, but the other part couldn’t resist telling everyone about their amazing food as I am a true foodie and want to make sure this place stays in the hood. If you try it, you are in for a real treat!
Pros: Small Food with Big Flavor
Cons: None

We needed a place like this on the upper west side. The food is really wonderful and it is paired with great wines and very good beers. It is a friendly, comfortable place to frequent. Love it!
