Design Confidant for Life - Truly Amazing

Mindy has a vast knowledge of design and was able to work with me to define the right style and ambience to suit my lifestyle. After just one meeting, she was able to figure out me and my style. My initial visit comprised of a walkthrough of the space, selecting paint colors, and an initial design plan-that was then made more robust. Mindy suggested, and I agreed, that the space would be well suited for unique items from around the city and the world. She knew exactly where to go. Even though my new possessions are from many different vendors, the look is totally me.

Mindy is innovative and comes prepared with her bag of tricks. She is friendly, funny and has an easy going personality. She was willing to do whatever it took to get the job done right and exceed my expectations. She makes things look easy and handled herself calmly in unexpected situations. She very much cares about all her projects and worked hard to ensure every detail was just as I envisioned it.

Shopping with Mindy was an experience; she has opened my eyes to a whole new world. She has been able to get me to think outside of the box and become more creative.

I am grateful that she was willing to work within my busy schedule. She was very generous with her time and extremely accessible. Her design assistants ensure that order and delivery details don?t fall through the cracks. Mindy and her team always go above and beyond the call of duty; I could not have gotten it done without them.

This experience has been much more than I ever expected. I have an apartment that I can call my own and love to come home to. I have developed a design confidant in Mindy that will outlast this design engagement.

I trust Mindy?s judgment implicitly and value her opinion and expertise. I would highly recommend her and her team for any project big or small. I look forward to working with her again on my next project, a Hamtpon's home. Mindy will be my first and last call in the design department.

Look no further!

Mindy has designed three entirely different spaces for me over the past 10 years and in doing so has proven her versatility as an interior designer. We started with a dull Manhattan studio which she transformed into a beautiful pied-a-terre. The tasteful combination of wall colors, window treatments and furniture created a cheerful and cozy atmosphere, and every inch of space was put to practical use in a "non-overwhelming" manner. We then moved on to a country house. Mindy proved she could handle large spaces just as efficiently. In the end, my wonderful home not only had the perfect country "feel," but reflected my personality. We just recently concluded the third project, a large two-bedroom apartment with floor to ceiling windows. Again, Mindy created the perfect design for a chic city apartment.

Have you ever dealt with a salesperson that promises to find you your perfect "whatever," then attempts to unload their own inventory? I can guarantee that with Mindy, you'll never have an experience like this. She is an intelligent, creative and extremely reliable listener/designer who will help you create YOUR perfect space, no matter what your budget.

She's a real gem!

Encore Decor Interior Design

Encore decor is a one lady shop, though there is nothing wrong with that. Nice lady, pleasant personality.

She has the skills for a small bedroom or college dorm for 'in the moment' ideas like rearranging furniture. After meeting with her for almost 4 hours plus a $700+ fee, we concluded she does not have the higher end professional experience or aesthetic for a more detailed or more upscale redesign project.

• Pros: Quirky personality
• Cons: perhaps needs more experience

-Encore Decor Interior Design consists of myself and 2 Assistant Designers who place orders and follow-up with vendors about invoices & delivery details.

-I was hired to re-arrange furniture only to find a client that was resistant to any change.

-After our meeting of I followed-up with a recap and punch-list of 17 items that neededed to be done to make her apartment more liveable.

-If I weren't an Expert on Design and Re-Design I wouldn't be appearing nationally on TV for over 3 years, sometimes more than 4x per week.

-My professional experience includes designing for Donald Trump and many world class companies (please see the credential list on my site)

It's a shame Mrs. Safran didn't benefit from my knowlege and expertise. I have been around long enough to know that some people cannot be pleased.

HGTV Designer in my home!

Mindy is very friendly and very laid-back, and has tremendous expertise in interior design. Shopping with her is like shopping with a close friend. She knows where to find all the great stores in NYC, and she picked furnishings for my living room and bedroom that gave me the look and feel of a designer bedroom from the magazines. I will recommend her to anyone out there who is looking for a down to earth designer who knows what she is doing!

Most Creative and Resourceful Interior Designer

I was referred to Mindy by a friend who used her and was also really satisfied. She's down to earth, a great listener and was able to solve my decorating dilemmas very easily at a fair price. I also love watching her on HGTV.
