Let me tell you a long story. I was recently looking for a company that could take care of all of our indoor and outdoor landscaping services. Essentially have one contact for our rooftop gardens and for out tropical plants. I did my research. My Google searched out about a million of them, but they would only do one rt the other. I narrowed my search down to John Mini and Urban Plantscapes. After having both NYC Landscapers come up with Designs and maintenance proposals’. Prices were about equal, but Urban really took the time to walk me through the design and revise the design to our budget. Plus the do not use any pesticides and seemed overall more green. We have been using them for about two years; they maintain our irrigation, orchids and all of or houseplants. Its great! If you hear of any other cool companiesin the NYC area, please let me know.

I learned about this company after seeing their plants an flowers on the Today Show. Urban Plantscapes is by far the most creative landscaping company I have seen in the New York City area. Their choices of plant material as well as pottery have enhanced our decor. We constantly receive compliments on our roof top garden in midtown and our interior plantings and flowers in our down town office. They come out and visit our office plants every week to water and fertilize all of our plants and flowers. We know can brag that our company is totally Green. We have provided our employees and visitors a beautiful, but more importantly a healthy work environment. NY PHIL

We are located at 100 Park Building, just a few floors from Urban Plantscapes - Indoor landscapes. We had a few plants that we get throught the years. Some of the plants have sentimental value an were a little bit preicy. We thought we should bring in a professional plant and flower firm. They maintain all of our plants and flowers and some exterior plants at one of retail locations. They really do a great job. Plus when I am away on work I never have to worry> I have had a peace lily that had not flowers in years not it is covered in beautiful blooms.

I work as an office manger in a medium size company in Manhattan. We have accumulated lots of plants and flowers thought the years. One of my coworkers told me about a company that comes and waters (maintains) our plants and flowers. Long story, short. We have been using Urban Plantscapes for over 4 years now. I love how they constantly keep our office space looking fresh and lively. They even brought in all new pots with no drainage holes for the plants. They look great and they blend in with our decor. If you have indoor plants I would definitely look into them.

NYC + Corporate gifts. Every time I want to thank a client or welcome someone to the neighborhood. I call Urban Plantscapes and they deliver a flower or plant in beautiful pottery. I love giving a live gift because they person receiving it can watch it grow and mature. There is simply no better gift.

Great landscaping company. Urban Plantscapes services our office in NYC and our home in the suburbs. Our tropical house plants and our yard never looked so good. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the design and picking out plants and flowers. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff

Pros: Provide floral, interior and exterior gardening. I do not have to worry.

I live and work on the upper east side of the city. Home of the most overpriced flower shops and orchids in all of New York City. I was happy to find this local flower / plant company that delivers all items and does a wonderful job with our house plants and green roof garden. They also deliver creative live gifts for our friend and family through the NYC metro area!!! TJ212

I am one of the indecisive people that wants the city and the suburban life all in one. When my husband and I decided to move back to New York City, I thought that I would not be able to have any flowers or herbs. I read an article on Urban Plantscapes and was amazed at how they could bring nature into the smallest (NYC) space. You never really think of landscapers in a big city (NYC) area, but UP does a great job. They designed, installed and maintain our interior and exterior plants and flowers. We have beautiful herbs and flowers that attract butterflies and humming birds. It is like my own personal oasis. Thx Chuck I even recommend them to my sons’ house in Westchester and they did a wonderful job for his home too. Kathy New York City

It took me a little while to understand this company. Are they a landscaper? Are they a florist? Are they interior designers? Do they do both interior and exterior? The answer is yes to all, Urban Plantscapes takes care of all our floral, pottery, entrance planters, rooftop gardens and interior plants and orchids. I love how our space just flows now, since it is all done by one company, all of the flowers and deco pots match. Nothing ever clashes. What a great concept, Urban Plantscapes definitely thinks outside of the box. We constantly receive compliments, and we entertain some very picky people ;) Urban Plantscapes – two thumbs way up!!!

I was amazed to see all the new varieties of daffodils, tulips and other spring flowers lining 5th ave in a posh area of midtown. I was shocked to see the detail and quality of Urban Plantscapes work. I have seen 34th street park association and the grand central partnership, but the pale in comparison to the flower and color combination of Urban Landscapers. It is refreshing feeling coming out to the New York craziness to be surrounded by beauty and a wonderful aroma. Urban has been doing out interior and exterior containers for our NYC office building. There are a lot of shady landscapers out there; it is nice to see that there are some really good ones still left. I can’t wait to see what they put in for the summer!
