I would like to thank D-Dojo and especially its sensei Igor to welcome me in his club. Igor is a really good teacher and also a tough competitor in all kind of practices : technical, Kata, Kumite. I've been practicing Karate for 12 years, especially in Kumite and it s a real pleasure and honor to train myself with Igor and D-Dojo members. I'm learning a lot. I'm so glad to have found this club because I come from France and when I just moved to NYC I didn't know if I could find a club like mine in France. I know a lot of teachers and igor is for sure, one of the best who I have met ! He knows how to train, to speak, to explain and to motivate people at any level of learning. I recommend you to try his very good training. You will enjoy for sure ! Thanks d-Dojo, Thanks Igor. Julie French Competitor 1st dan Black Belt

D-Dojo is the real karate school. If you want to learn traditional karate the correct way, join D-Dojo. Sensei Dyachenko is very experienced karateka with both technical and practical skills. I have been practicing karate for over 20 years and have seen many instructors in my life. As I third degree black belt in Shtokan style and former world and european karate champion I highly recommend D-Dojo. OSS
Pros: The best karate dojo in New York

Anyone how is looking for a professional karate teacher, do not loose your chance, the teacher in D-Dojo is one of a kind. He is all in one, just like a Hercules, but can enplane the things in English well.
Pros: Very nice with kids, knows what he is doing.
Cons: My kid is to small to aprisiate the quality of explanations (training).

Let me tell you something, if you are a serious person who respects quality, this place would be for you. If you are looking for private or group classes to learn the art of karate as it is thought in Japan for your child or yourself, I would recommend only d-dojo because the instructor there is the real deal, he is so precise to details, you would not believe. In short period of time I have learned so much, it would take me a life time to get to those secrets, if I was practicing in regular karate school. Thanks to Igor for all his help.
Pros: Prices are very cheap compare to the quality of instructions.
Cons: None whatsoever!!

My username should be an indication that I LOVE to eat and drink. But those extra calories pile up; and after trying all kinds of diets and gyms, I needed something that would "kick my behind" a little harder, so that I could go on enjoying being a foodie. Igor kicks it in a most terrific way. He's intuitive, knowlegeable, patient and works with you to maximize your body potential. D-Dojo Karate most definitely does the trick. Not only can I go on eating what I want, but my overall physique has improved tremendously. I can't recommend it enough!
Pros: Great instructor, great program
Cons: None

You will learn a lot from the teacher, might be a little frustrating in the beginning, because you realize how much work needs to be done to be a good karateka. Obviously, not like a typical karate school. Most of other places only what your money for their belts. Come check it out, anyway the first class is free.

The best karate and self defense teacher, no one else has that ability to perform the moves with full force and amplitude, to explain and to make you perform it in the same manner was shown. If I take suggestions from Igor, so you should use his expertise for sure.
Pros: very dedicated teacher.

Although I'm only 17, I've been practicing karate for 10 years now under many different senseis and dojos. D-dojo is different from most dojos out there and I like it for learning how to focus better. Igor has helped me correct my form and stamina. In just three lessons I learned more than I would from a month of my previous trainings. Its not just good for advanced students like myslef, but is great for beginners by teaching them every detail of the proper karate form. You learn to feel your muscles and know your body. I'm going to keep going and in 1 year I know I will achieve better results and win more championships than before, either way i know my form, my body, and my fitness is getting in the best shape ever. This dojo is sooooooo awsome!!!!
